auditory hallucinations

can you get hallucinations from smoking weed? there is an echo in hear and i think its from the weed, but i spend all my time alone so i dont know if that is the case. but if it is the weed when does the visual portion kick in? anyone every had this issue with smoking?

Oh definitely. I get auditory hallucinations, phlanging and "head music loops" on weed. In fact, it's my weed quality indicator. good wed affects how I hear sound and music. cn

<edit> One time, twelve years ago, a friend and I went to the beach and smoked. I hadn't been high in a while and got very, very high. At one point I was convinced the surf noise was a helicopter.

I haven't ever experienced visual hallucinations, but audio for sure, even after some heavy dosing. Also the occasional spider web string to the face feeling. Guess that's general sensory hallucinations.

I don't know if I've ever experienced what I would consider true auditory hallucinations. But I have had visual ones on the rarest of occasions. Nothing like a LSD or mushrooms or anything like that. I saw an insane amount of tracers behind everything. This caused me to ride my bike in circles therefore increasing the effect of the tracers. If you want to know what they looked like, I would point to Johnny Cage's shadow punch/kick from Mortal Combat.

Damn cat erased my response before I could post it. I've had both auditory and visual hallucinations on weed. But i'm a very very lightweight smoker. Auditory usually just booming music. Visual is usually bad. Like...someone in the room will look like a demon to me, and if they talk to me or ask me if i'm ok, i'd think that if I spoke they could get into my brain somehow...so I won't respond, which worries them more...and then they'll do something like touch my shoulder and it all goes to hell....but nothing like that has happened in a while. Happened a lot when I first started smoking. Not so much anymore.

That's an issue? If I don't have aural and visual hallucinations, I consider it a weak high. That's what I strive for every time I toke. Just as long as there's no paranoia. You know you're there if you close your eyes and it feels like you're dropping or floating faster than a rollercoaster. Once you open your eyes you see floating color shapes. All the sounds are intense and you see even 2d video in 3d.

So fuck you! You made me want to get high and I can't until Wednesday night.
