Not getting too cold outside?
I'm from Minnesota originally, so I'm always concerned about the plants around harvest time. She looks indica enough though, but I would hate to see a hard frost blow through and freeze her up. I have this feeling in my bones, and I could be totally wrong, that a cold snap is going to roll in during the first couple of weeks in October.

Hopefully you can stay in Colorado for a few nights before heading off to Cali to check out some of the grows done, the high country is an excellent place to spot dominatus topiarius in its natural habitat. I'm sure that all the 303 guys would love some one shooting up their garden...you crazy mainliner you. Shooting up stuff and what not.
Sincerely,
ILovePlants

So after reading your thread and seeing a few examples of what you have done, I'm inspired to give mainlining a try. This is what I have currently growing.
View attachment 2350820View attachment 2350824 Orange Bud Clone that I have pruned and bent for 8 heads.
View attachment 2350830View attachment 2350831View attachment 2350832 Pineapple Chunk that I have pruned and bent for 4 currently, shooting for 8 heads.

Hey Nugs, I have been following this thread for a few months and I can't thank you enough for all the knowledge you share. I am about 30 days in on my first grow and decided to get the ladies ready for mainlining. I'm pretty sure I waited too long to cut them back but it's a learning process as I have made a few mistakes already in other areas. I'm looking forward to watching them do their thing. I'm not sure if this looks right so anyone here please feel free to correct me if this looks wrong. I accidentally split one the stems while tying it down last night so I was a little more cautious on how hard to tie the other ones down. Any help or advice is much appreciated. Again thank you Nugs and everyone who contributes to this thread. Peace.DSC_0204 (800x533).jpgDSC_0205 (800x533).jpgDSC_0206 (800x533).jpgDSC_0207 (800x533).jpgDSC_0208 (800x533).jpg

How long did you veg those before you let them flower? They look amazing. Your pictures are looking really good too.

They are under two 1000w hortilux HPS bulbs. I had both hoods raised to the top of my tent at 1000w and was alternating the two hoods for nine hours each (my probably not so bright idea to emulate the sun moving), but yesterday I got some ratcheting ropes, lowered the lights closer to the plants and now have them both on at 18/6 dimmed downed to 400w (or 800w total). I figured the plants would get more intense light if the hoods were lowered and that's why I decreased the wattage. I was thinking of increasing them both back to 600w in a few days unless you think it's best to keep them at 400w for now. I am still trying to figure out what the hell I am doing as I go, but so far I am having a blast :)

you really should have them under veg lighting like MH...or even cfl....they need a higher Kelvin temp...HPS is too "red" for your vegging plants. Plants in veg want "blue" light. your HPS is for flower.

...Seeds popped and clones taken around the 1st of June....transplanted into their big pots on July 20th.....started flowering on the 13th of august....so if you figure 7 days to crack and root....67 days veg......too long for my soil, pots, and scene...if i were to do it again, i would keep it to 50-55 days veg total....they grew way too fast once their main-lining was done and transplanted into my custom soil...the 3rd pic is of my ACES taken on the 29th of July, and now they are 6 1/2 feet tall, they are incredible, but i wanted smaller plants overall.:leaf:

Hey Nugs,

Do you have pics of the 6 foot AOS? I really need to get some AOS seeds - I want to grow to there (30 Rock reference). Sub makes some killer plants! :)

Cheers,
Mo

What's up Nugs?

I know I read this somewhere, but could you refresh my memory on how long you veg your 7-gal indoor plants after transplanting into the big pots? I think you said 14 days, but maybe I'm making that up. My Cheese Quakes have been in their 7-gals for about 4 days now, and they are just starting to hit their stride. I think they are gonna bust into warp-speed veg any day now, and I don't want to end up with another jungle...
