RO water, ventilation and air quality

I was wondering if i needed an RO machine. My city water is at 250ppm and the chlorine gets pretty bad sometimes. Itchy dry skin after a shower and sometimes you can smell it. Should i spend the 300 on the water filter? I really don't want to lug water from the water place. The house doesn't need any water softening or hardening either

I'm going to be growing in an unfinished bathroom in my basement apartment(so if i did get an RO machine it would be right in the room)

Question about ventilation:

none of the windows in my apartment open up so the air gets stale pretty quick. The dryer out hole is right where my grow room is. how will i be able to keep the air quality in good condition for my plants? I could suck air into the room(best option as the plants need Co2) but the dryer blows hot air out so how can i get it so there's no back flow into the room?

I'm not sure if sucking air out will be an option. There's no way for fresh air to get in really from any where unless i pull it from outside. The room isn't completely sealed either so if i do blow in air the old air will have a way to escape.

Also there's no moisture down here so how would i go about adding water to the air that doesn't consist of heavy hot humidity? Would adding a big bucket of water in the room with air stones work?

I wont have any HPS or MH lights either its all going to be CFL and LED

So why are you on a marijuana grow forum? Stop lying. If you were growing tomatoes you'd be on a tomato forum, if you were growing peppers you'd be on a pepper forum. They exist, don't pretend like they don't.

Ignore the friend request i pushed the wrong button.. I'm on my phone btw..

Whats your problem anyways? Yes i did join this forum for the purpose of growing and learning about marijuana but currently am not doing so. The only reason i put that i'm not so i don't waste peoples time on giving me marijuana related grow room temps/humidity percentages etc.

I asked a few simple question and you go off on a little kid rant. This forum is easily assessable from my phone and marijuana communities are usually stock full of grow room information and decent people.

I'm using it out of convenience and yeah i might not be growing marijuana but that doesn't mean I'm not allowed here. So why should i terminate my membership when maybe in the future i might grow it?

If your intent wasn't to give me any information on what i asked then why waste your time and mine?

Now we are off topic now talking about things that don't matter. All i needed is information not a hissy fit.

And as for the comment About fresh air.. yes that's true but fresh air does have natural Co2 which plants need. If i don't have to buy a tank and regulator that's less money out of my pocket

this is all any one needs to make your water great for growing. been using these for 6 years now.
That looks like a neat little unit.. ill have to research it. The hydro store near me has a dechlorinator and sediment filter but its around 180 with taxes. And the full RO machine is 320 with taxes.

And thanks for the air reply post. I don't think temps will go that high as I'm going to be using CFL's for the different types of lettuce and herbs. And LED's for some experimental potatoes, strawberries and other things.

Yeah its pretty good price too. I just cant wait to start growing already!! And get all this setup.

So if temps don't go above 25C i don't need to vent in or exaust out? Its kind of hard to believe. Dont they need new air to replace the used air? I guess its all trial and error. I'll start a journal about it i suppose.

You will need to change the air. But that will come with heat of your lights. I was just pointing out that air is moving in the room.

"...lighten up Francis". He was just giving you a hard time. Why do people get their back up so quick on these forums?

I bought an R/O filter for $90.
My R/O water ppm is 4.
