man thats some crazy looking stuff, it got alot of leaves but they look so funky id just smoke them to

WELL!
Its all done and chopped and pruned, now the drying begins!
I wanted to take heaps of photos of the plants after chopping, like the root ball etc but the smell of me trimming the girls was stinking out the whole street! I was stressing like fuuurk. Luckily we got the lawns mowed today and my next door neighbor started burning off in his back yard...SAVE!
These buds haven't been properly trimmed yet...

saw this and it got me wondering, if you started clones a in a smart pot or something similar that doesnt hold so much water filled with perlite, you could pre veg quite a bit and just drop it into the bigger buckets when ready the roots should still grow through and save quite a bit of time all that training needs, ever thought about trying that?ROUND 2

yeah ive definitley thought about that, but im a little short of room atm and can only really run the 1 tent. These clones have been slowly growing under a cfl in a small cardboard box which is all the room i really have. Later on down the track ill have 2 tents with 4 plants, 2,4,6 and 8 weeks old. That should keep things at an even pace

i JUST finished trimming!!!! took me nearly 3 days, and now i can finally relax, well actually still have to manicure some final heads, i just snipped the rest off as i was falling asleep trimming lol. Pics for my thread 2moz.
Top work Gorbzzz, you the man! and we both got round 2 ready
But me going the 1 plant route again.

Have fun stinking out the neighborhood out! i know EXACTLY how you feel. Even the postie stuck his nose up on the way past this morning. Not to mention hearing next door complain about how 'rotten' it stinks lol They have been putting air fresheners around their backyard and oil burners lol... Take that neighbors!

Thanks to your setup! umm not sure on the yield, like you said I dont wanna say more then end up with less and be dissapointed. I think ill be pretty happy with the outcome.. how do you dry yours flo and how long does it usually take?

quality is always No. 1. you got it.I dry mine SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. no less than 10 days air dry at no more than 21 degrees in 60-70% humidity. The humid air will help slow the drying process and break down MORE chlorophyl. leaching the colours out of the buds and leaving a more pure product. If you Dry buds out to fast what happens is the inner salts have not been converted into sugars leaving residual taste. I've tried many ways. I hang ALL my big stuff for atleast 3-4 days to further mature, ferment and ripen this keeps most of the moisture in and they dry even slower and more evenly so when i goto jar them the moisture from the stem will head to the rest of the bud helping cure the final product to a perfect crispness. My smaller stuff goes in the net carefully all trimmed down with no ugly stems and leaves and gets bunched together into a smallish pile, not too bunched or it will get too warm, you just want it to retain a little moisture and let the buds breath a little top and bottom. They will continue to shrink so gradually bring it all in closer to each other swapping the sides into the middles so all dries evenly. If it takes an hour to move the buds carefully it means quality product in the end. Trimming leaves off buds first is up to you
i leave some on my real beauties to remind me to keep the separate and have them dry a little slower.I got ALOT of beauties this round. maybe 30 good size colas. I didnt count!!? man i'm wrecked.

It will be RIU based, i imagined that would be easiest for all interested to follow, i will wait until i have a decent amount of initial information so it will start from the very basics of what to buy, essentials and setup.

ALSO, what are your res temps like? My last grow was fine because of winter but now springs here, my temps are around 21-22 degrees
ive previously done research and this temp is baaad news! The temps ideally should be under 17 :/. im already getting some brown slime and a unpleasant smell in the res.

I don't run Zyme, or uptake, and during flowering i remove B1 Boost and ofcourse zyme to eliminate any further nitrogen. Uptake is very watered down from cyco i would use it at 2ml. Zyme has issues with sliminess in the res, i don't know why it just feeds and turns into shit and makes your res tank stink, ever since i eliminated Zyme my issues disappeared and my quality improved considerably.
res temp is fine at 21-22 degrees
don't believe the hype.... no need for a chiller, outside the ground is and can get much warmer, plants will adapt unless its a considerable difference in temp than what its used to.Just reading now about your slime! you using cyco? i forgot sorry man, dont think you are ey, it maybe some bacteria growing from some zyme product perhaps? or a sugar product perhaps molasses... fill me in

B1 Boost is GReeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat!!!! but go easy! strong stuff, silica is awesome just mix it in bit by bit, or dilute first in a bottle of water. the reaction can cause cloudiness, but not an issue if diluted quickly. See my 2 new babies i got growing? just waiting on inspection. BAM!!!! ones going in. better be soon.

Nice work broSo all up the great whites gave me around 10oz. Not the biggest yield but hey, it was my first time doing real hydro, im sure next time will be better
