First, let me say that I completely suck at math. Not basic math, but everything after that. Another big mistake that I did was signing up for an online class for Finite Mathmatics. The teacher sucks and she isn't any help, and not to mention she set up the online class to be hard to understand. The fucking quizzes are not even in order. Oh, and did I mention that within our syllabus she happen to mention that all the work that we do on the quizzes and homework wont have anything to do with the content on the midterm or final. "That makes a whole lot of sense"
I am a Networking Major and none of this mickey mouse bullshit will even matter in the long run for me. Binary is one thing, but I already know binary and hexadecimal. (Here is a fun fact: Learning binary and hex is taught in Cisco.) <<Wait for it..... An actual Networking course. It seems as though every single math course I take in college is meant to just piss you off. The teachers never want to assist you properly, and they never let you use any notes for tests.
Out of every single class that I have had that actually pertains to my degree, they allow you to use your notes, computer, internet and whatever you have available access to do you best. It seems as though my computer teachers seem to understand the fact that in the real world you have access to an infinite amount of resources to get the job done. Why is it that math teachers cant seem to understand this? They even take it to the point of whenever you are about to take a test, they make you sign a piece of paper stating that you are receiving a piece of scrap paper.
Your not even allowed to use your own scrap paper. WTF.
Do I somehow have invisible ink that whenever I get lost on an equation all I have to do is tickle the paper and it gives me the answer. Thanks a lot Ms. Mathematician fuck tard, I found your X and he is diddling the English major in the hallway.
End of rant.
