Glad you found this thread again CAS. I have been meaning to update with the dry ice extraction recipe. Basically, it requires much more hash/kief and a little more liquid to absorb the extra plant material. Here's the recipe I followed last time and it worked well. I used the Otto#1 kief and the dose is about 10 drops. I'm guessing the dose could be a bit less with a more THC dominant strain.
You may notice I didn't heat the vodka with the lid on the jar this time. Since I was adding more liquid I wanted to evaporate more of it off so it would still fit in the one ounce dropper bottle. I did a double batch (14 grams for 2 ounces of tincture) and I think it turned out about right as far as final proportions. Unfortunately, I spilled some (close to half an ounce) when I was pouring into the dropper bottles so I can't say for sure. You should be able to increase proportions on this recipe up to any amount and make as much tincture as you want. I'll be testing that theory when I chop those Qush plants soon...
Regarding how long an ounce of tincture lasts, it all depends on how often you use it and how strong you like it. I figured 1 ounce = about 30 ml, 10 drops (one dose) = about .5 ml, so you get about 60 doses from a bottle. YMMV
