throw some sea shells in there too! minerals. growin can be cheap. i'm die-hard organic and my hydro/commercial friend awaits my harvest.

Anything from the ocean, I'm a keen fisherman and I always compost my sea shells and fish frames. We have a native sea urchin which juices have the same sort of effect during flower as super expensive bloom ferts which burn if you add a few mls too much

i pay for azomite, humic acid, blood, bone, lime, but i get free shit, literally, off of craigslist. i mix a rich soil, like a sorta super soil, and top dress during flower. with excellent results. i spend 50 USD a year on nutes/amendments

yes........a big one. and compost piles. check out "Scroggy's 2012 Garden"
its a big green tub and its full of red wigglers and wood lice. i winter the worms over in a compost pile.
