40 year old seeds

I have 5 aquariums - one of which has high powered lights to grow coral - if I had to I could swap it to a lower light - give my planted tank a different light - and put the coral light on my plants. Would that be a better idea.

bad ass the drummer from the gratefull dead gave them to u?? that means u have the origanal hash plant strain realy cool i would love to see them grow how did he give them to you? was he like "hey random guy i dont know here are some hash plant seeds" or "hey wats up random guy i know would you like some hash plant seeds" or could he have been like " hey whats up Bob long time no see i got these bad ass hash plant seeds do you want any" or was it a mix between the 3? what was the drummers name?

cannabineer ... Growone, when I think hash plant, I'm put in mind of Afghani and Iranian indica landraces. cn rightfully so, but those arrived over here a bit later, at least in any quantity
back in the 70's you would see Moroccan hash to some extent, Lebanese was around to a greater extent
of course, not much hash has seeds with it, so doesn't really nail it down

rofl hash with seeds lol i have never smoked or manufacterd hash with seeds in it that would be impossible unless a seed was small enough to fit through the screen that processed the marijuana lol. when we refer to hash plant we dont mean a plant that grows nothing but hash lol

You were dead on the nose with who it was . He lived in the same town as me. People know each other here. Thank you for verification on the strain. - it was from mickey

realy realy cool man i love the idea of smokeing the same exact strain as mickey smoked!!! i cant wait to see the grow + rep and subbed. even if it isnt the dankest stuff in the world it will still be the same stuff the dead smoked on maby it inspired some of there songs there is allot of dead heads out there that would love to see this grow please post pics and up dates

There is a chance I will not start germinating until it gets closer to the time I want to plant them outdoors but I might do it now and put them under a light to veg. We will see how things go at this point I'm not so sure when to start them. I hope it will all work out, what method would you suggest for germination?

Just jumping in..I popped a couple seeds from the 80's in about 08. Turned out to be some mex dirt weed that got chucked but they grew. Found em in a paper bag of shake when going thru old boxes.

Thank you VERY much for the input. It really makes my anxiety level go down quite a bit. How would you PRESERVE the genetics if they work? force a herm?

Sorry I didnt see that I said the drummer - my bad - was kinda stoned at that point of the night. Yes they were from him - they are from the 70's I don't know when exactly but mid 70's - and I agree.
