Mitt Romney could atleast respect Americans enough to hide the the fact that he's in the back pocket of corporate America. The only way I see him winning is if Americans value race over politics. With that being said I also believe that Obama isn't what America needs either. He's too honest for a political role so high. Clinton was efficient because he would make the people he needed a few dollars and get them a little ass behind closed doors. That's politics , Obama has too much riding on him and there is too much bullshit to scoop through right now for a honest person to be an effective president. Plus If any type of scandal surfaces he stands to discredit a race. Thats too much pressure. We need another laid back white president right now. Obama is ahead of his time

i don't think Mitt Romney being "honest" is the right word.
If he were to be elected you might as well put the USofA back 200 years.
And women will have no rights, you might as well move to Middle East and get it over with.
And don't even get me started on the abortion issue. Women have 100% right to do what they want to their body and no religion or government can tell them otherwise.
Just my 2 cents

How would Romney being elected set us back 200 years? Be specific.

How will women have no rights? because of Abortion? I like to think Abortion is less about religion and gov't and more about killing an innocent child. Fun fact, sex is a choice not a right.

Do you know what Sharia Law is? This is something Muslims have been pushing to be allowed here in the US and by and large Democrats are the ones defending them.

Romney is a businessman. He has all those foreign bank accounts and businesses overseas because thats what all smart businessmen are doing right now. Why are they doing that though? because the US has made this a unhealthy place for large and small businesses to prosper. If we make this a more hospitable climate for businesses like we did in our past then jobs would come back to this country.

Also, how is taxing the people who open businesses and create jobs sound like a good way to fix the economy? To me, it sounds more like a good incentive to hide all your assets and open your business in a foreign market.


Obama is a Social president, Romney is a Economic president. What do we need right now? More feel good policies or more jobs?

I'd be scared shitless if Romney won, his values and mine are at the opposite ends of the spectrum. Obama isn't the greatest president. I liked Clinton better, but he is better than the alternative.

It's true the Feds are ducking with medical marijuana states, but it will be much worse with Romney. He says he will not allow medicinal mj under his watch. He just strikes me as the rich, stuck up frat boy who cares only for himself....the kind most of us would have bitch slapped in college because of his smugness


by the way, this doesn't belong on this forum. Hopefully it will get moved to politics

It appears that most people don't like Obama or Romney. All of my pretentious friends like Ron Paul. Obama wins pretty much by default.

I don't even follow US politics that closesly but seriously, Romney's appearances everywhere seem to be a blunder after blunder after blunder. Does he actually still have any chances of winning? At one point I thought that Romney has been nominated so Obama can be re-elected, cause IMO they both sing the same song really and if Ron Paul got nominated than probably would have been a landslide victory for him and the corporate scumbags definitely wouldn't want that.

Well lets see, the topic of abortion is controversial as is but if no abortion was allowed like Romney want i hope to god your mother, sister, daughter, or close personal female friends never is raped, sexual abused or involved incest or any other type of unwanted sexual activity. This innocent "child" who has been wrongly conceived will be that persons consent reminder of what happened to them for 18+ years of their entire life. If you believe that adoption is their only other choice i would like to see your loved ones part with a child after 9 months.

If he was elected i hope your loved ones would have through this pain and you could admit to them that you helped to destroy their lives by electing your business man president.

If your business man will not keep his money on American soil then he does not believe in the system he is trying to save.

after hearing "Sharia Law" comment i would like to know your nationality, and if you do believe in this way of life enough to use it as a point of view, maybe you should devote your life to Islam and move to this dangerous place in the world, but I' sure your all talk and would never leave your suburb apartment/house and risk your life in that part of the world. If sex is a choice not a right maybe some abstinence will help your situation to make clear headed decisions.

You're missing the point. I could care less about the candidates, I hate all of them. I just want you to know you misread the original post. Go re-read it. He say's obama is too honest not romney. I'd just thought you'd like to know since you're debating here.

i personally will be voting Romney, because the other option is shit, and while mormons may be wacky, odd and a little unhinged religiously. they are invariably pretty damned honest. meanwhile Barry Seotoro has proven himself both dishonest and incompetent at the two most important jobs of the US president. commander in chief of the most powerful military force on the planet, and the dude who picks the people to fill vacancies in the government. he has failed at both, broken every promise he made regarding both and generally made a fucking mess of the entire country.
