See, I don't care if the lights go off, if I know they need water they get it even if it means a brief interruption in light. The real world isn't sealed away, there is a moon outside. I've neer had any plant hermi on me. I've only had to do that a few times though, as I norm align the lights with my life.

Well i already had 4 herms recently and it's looking like i'm about to have another one.If you look at picture 4 the plant in the middle with the lower foliage cut off was a herm.

So i been kinda busy for the last couple of days,i know i needed to water my plants,but the lights went off,i got home lights were off so i had to wait.
So when lights finally came on OMFG I'm pretty sure you guys know what happened.If u guessed dead drooping then u are right,but that
led to a shit load of more problems.All my but 1 plant looks shitty now and even 1 hermed on me,then i fucked around and gave em tap water and forgot to
PH it ,the light got to my plants also cause i got home a hour after lights,and only 1 fan is on with lights off but 2 when on,1 of my plants look like it got
bud rot? in 3 weeks of flowering? im hoping it's the heat but blah.IM PISSED!!! imma post pics so yall can laugh at my misfortune

Thats no surprise there. What I'm looking at is a disorganized mess ruined by negligence. You're going to reap what you sew, which in this case looks like it will be nothing worth bothering with. I'd suggest either learning how to do it right or just give up growing altogether. I'd put them out of their misery already. They're only going to spend their time trying to get better, thus they wont have the energy left to properly flower anything more than some scraggly popcorn airbuds.

I feel ya man. Woke up three days ago an checked on the 5 week old 12/12 ladies and.... Well 112F and soooo humid my glasses instantly fogged when I opened the door. They dead. Moving on. Fuck the work with Soil organic SCROG I'm going hydro SOG.

temp and humidity will always be a constant issue you will
have to control.

Put a 55 gal res in a hot room. soon you will have a sauna.

Only 1 plant looks kinda bad and she still getting bigger buds,remember this shit is in a closet with bad ventilation.All my other plants(her clones) are growing bigger buds than her,don't let the flash from the camera fool you she looks better than the pics would make you believe.Imma upload a video which may take forever but fuck it,BTW they smell good as hell and never actually had to do any real recovering,just some damaged leaves,I'm sorry for having a life and not being able to take care of them better
but I'm sure my 10 half assed plants will still yield more than most of the people on here who wreck their brains to just make 1oz per plant.I 5lbs of wet OG buds drying
right now,im an outdoor grower i only started this indoor shit cause i had 400/600w HID sitting around,I got 13 plants in all in a 3x2x9 closet i think I'm doing something right.

With flash and no flash in a box bout to go on vacation,i only use 13 cfls in my house for lighting in rooms so i use the flash all the time,my kitchen is the only room that has 80w t12's,i didn't even want to upload these pics since the network i hacked has shitty broadband 1.5 mbs download rate and the upload 384 kbps.

It might be a weed but it needs loving care man .. Water can make or break a plant , in your case a crop ! Over watering I did not see mentioned at all in this thread but I may have missed it with so many piss poor replies and hate ... There is a fine line of balance with growing cannabis and if you dont have the time to watch how they respond and adjust youll never have a real harvest ...

I have grown since only the late 80s but through the years I have never seen so many pist off ladies in bloom in one place .. You really need to adjust and rethink the whole grow , next up they will all herm out and thats most likely going to happen unless you have true XX females and that out of Bag seed would be a lottery win of billions ..

The clawing of the leaves indicates much here along with what you term as light fade and burn ? Those plants are sick and there roots are more fucked than you know .. Your roots hold key to your harvest and there locked the fuck out and burnt my man .. PH lockout sucks ass and its simple to avoid

Dont be offended I am just laying it out and being truthful , this sucks and you have to learn to give them what they need and have the time as well as the discipline to do so ... Make sure you have proper drainage ,go on the light side with feeding and watering .. Study Ph and dont forget it .. Read and study , you ll be much more content in the long run and then might be a hotshot ...

Well the 2 oldest plants are sick at the end of the day in all honesty the budded one went thru a shit load of heat stress and a overdose on molasses i can confirm that
since it happened only 12 hours later and i know I'm nutrient sufficient when it comes to manganese,but that plant had problem throughout the whole grow,can't even
take the same amount of fertilizer as the rest and has been threw burns light/fertilizer,the clones i took from her is 5 of those plants and they are bigger and healthier.
The other plant is on the verge of root bound and i know this but will be transplanted in a week.The rest of the 8 flowering plants are doing fine but they do feel the heat
too.

Trial and Error bro if you saw how many plants I've fucked up that survived you would be supprised. It's probably to late to save them, but in the future if you have issues always give them a week or so to heal before you cull them. You never know some plants are stronger then others and will come back some wont. Hopfully you are able to at least get some seeds to save from buying more. Good luck.

West Coast to West Coast if you think soil is a lot of work and you're wanting to go with a hydro stye SOG grow you may want to stick with dirt bro. Dirt is forgiving, and most likely helped keep your roots cool during those 112 degree times where most hydro applications would have died rather quickly. I understand you lost the plants regardless but you would have lost them a lot faster with many hydro opperations. Take Rockwool for instance, and RW was probably the most common medium to use in a hydro SOG style of garden back in the day and may still be today. Rockwool is touchy for a lot of people and isn't easily managed without proper prevenative maintenance. With hydro you're going to have to worry about PH, EC, PPM's more than you would soil and the meters can be spendy. An environmental controller and some venthelation would probably be an easier route and stick with soil or if you really want to do hydro try coco, and hand water just like you do your soil grow (assuming you hand water, lol). This is just my .02 so take it for what its worth...

Thanks bro. I have a lil 3x4 ebb an flow I set up a while ago to try it out, luckily it had all my genitics in it and is doing just fine... I understand that it probably sound like a noob thing to let your room get to 112F and 150% humidity lol. Thing is I moved resently into a apt from my duplex, I was growing in a tent in the garage at the duplex.... Very cold out there and moisture build up would never be a problem. I neglected to change my set up after moving it into a house at of laziness.

If those pics above are what your worried about then stop, they'l be fine, yeah you may affect to overall yeild by frying them a little but ive seen ten times worse than that.
Recently a friend of mine who didnt want to invest in a real timer despite my insistance fried the shit out of his, his lights stayed on for 3 days and due to inadequate air exchange temps went up to 137deg f. When i saw them every leaf had dried to a crisp and were crumbling and falling off. Every fan leaf dropped off and his bud shrivled. It came back to life though. Obviously his crop and yield suffered but they lived to finish flowering.
As for the herm, couldnt comment.
