This is an unknown I believe to be sativa strain from seed in a 3 gal. With the growroom 4Wx3Lx8H the plant is around 2 ft as of this morning, so i super cropped it yet again. Seems to be the only option at this time since i failed to LST it early OR top. SC'd the main stem twice and all branches twice. Just finished SC all the branches an hour ago since about 2 weeks ago.

Anyone have advice on how to further stunt stretching since i want to keep the canopy even as much as possible with my grape ape in a 5 gal.?:?

Bc noone wants to be the one to tell you not to move your plants in and out like that. Not that they look bad, just not a good idea.

People search for the easy answers. I've noticed that this site isn't really good if you have something seriously wrong with your plant. Either they see something on the plant and jump to the conclusion that it's nutrient burn with the odd answer that is on the ball, like a specific deficiency or there will be no answers.

I don't even post stuff in the plant problem section cause i didn't get a single answer when my plant had pH lockout.

just put your Grapeape on a crate, or something similar, to keep the canopy at same height ...basically raise the grape to height of the unknown...canopy will be equal :)

instead of keeping the unknown down, raise the grape ape up.. put a good sturdy crate or a extra pot u have laying around turned upside down... other then that, i would say a individual scrog screen would be the 2nd best idea, make sure to keep tuckn' the branches under for a week or two threw flowering, other wise your canopy still gets pretty un even... i would hit em with some neem oil or something for bugs too if you wanna keep bringing them in and out, your soil and buds will end up living in a "bad" way haha

i use 3in1 Neem oil to keep pests at bay, no troubles so far with that. and i will have to raise the grape up with a crate like lime said.
since the super cropping this morning the plant has all raised towards the light in a "J" shape, i went from 5-6 solid tops to about 20. I'm worried about the leaves being broke and laying on top of others would t his create a problem with mold or fungis? my grow room humidity is high(not enough suction to pull air out")

thanks pro, i def. plan on doing scrog since so many people are advising it now. Should i keep supercropping if i plan to start flowering in a week or two? Or just start tying branches down if possible(the stems pretty woody now)

scrogs are fun, def worth a try.. if nothing you gain a bit of knowledge!!! first thing you need to do if you wanna scrog em is get a screen on it, this is usually done threw veg so its important to get one on..try to get a metal one so you can tuck those stubborn branches under it and tie em down if need be to get em under that screen, you dont want anything above the screen at this point, but do it so that branches have their own spot in the screen.. i wouldnt go as far as to suggest supper cropping this late in veg, just because ive never done it myself, but i image if you do it now with 2 weeks of veg you got left, plus the 2-3 weeks in flower where the plants mostly stretch should be nuff to recover in time for the buds to start packing on..

at the bottom is a pic of my last woody kush scrog just so you can see a top view of the screen, this was very early flower i think, judging by the tiny little tops poking threw the screen.. pretty small grow, screen was a hard wire frame about 2 feet sq.. but it still gave me 1.5 oz with only 200 watts of cfl, next pic is the canopy i got with this scrog later in flower after the stretch and buds come in above the screen .. sorry bout the lighting, guess i had to move the reflector at the time to take the 1st pic haha

also, keep a fan on that canopy to keep the chances of mold down, when i scrogged i always kept a small 6 inch clip on fan under the screen pointed up to push air threw

The one on the left has a gangster lean to it lol. They look huge though I'd leave them inside under 12/12 and let them babies flower like crazy!

nice nugs u got there! Im definately gonna pick up some stuff tomorrow to get it set up. Been thinking of switching from 600 watt mh/hps to cfl, seems easier to regulate temps in room. I only have 1 fan atm blowing up in a 45 degree angle from bottom corner. I figure i will need 1 or 2 more.

judging by the pics, would it be smart to super crop a LST'd plant? Would it be to late to top???? Thanks all

instead of switching to cfl, i would def put the money into a air cooled hood/ cooltube and a inline fan to pull the heat out. u will always get better buds and bigger yeilds with HID lighting imo, and depending on the inline fan u get u cane def eliminate most of the heat... i use a 400 watt hps with a 250 cfm inline..
this is the hood i use:

came with the tempered glass too!!!
