The price of milk has gone up in California as well. There are new statewide cow regulations due to the methane gas their flatulence produces. We need to have a fart tax. Thats the only reasonable solution. Its for the good of the people.

I was watching Fareed Zacaria's special on jobs creation the other night. Something like 52% of new start-up businesses in silicon valley were started by Immigrants last year. Many of them from Mexico. I also remember hearing that around 1/3 of student graduating with degrees in S.T.E.M. fields were of Latin descent. Amazing isn't it? We NEED to start doing comprehensive immigration reform. We need to do more on a skill-based, rather than uniting families- Like it is now. Canada is doing that right now with much success. As soon as a foreign exchange student gets a degree, we need to turn it around and staple a green card to it... Demeaning immigrants is against everything America stands for. We are a nation of immigrants, created by foreigners in search of a better life.

Gas Prices are 6 cents above what it was before the financial meltdown in 2008. National gas price average today is still 30 cents below what it was in 2008 also. National average today: $3.81 National average in 2008: $4.11 ...... California today was something like $4.68 vs. $4.61 a year ago. So like I said but you refuted- they are almost back to normal!
