2012 outdoor bud pictures, who's got buds?

what effect on bud growth does lower temperatures in the fall have? does it stunt growth? or push the plant into hyper flower mode? its 59 right now...upper 70s in the day

I'll make the frost FAQ a bit easier to read. with moststrains lower temperatures push them to finish.

Thank goodness because I have a couple that were hit hard. On that second frost night it actually want down to 26. That was just too much for some of them. Most are showing some leaf damage.

what are the daytime temps like????

what are the daytime temps like????

These next two weeks, they will be mostly in the 60s and 70s with lots of sun. I'll be harvesting one or two a day during this period. I still have a dozen or so large plants (and I mean LARGE, lol) and some smaller clones left. The top half of my biggest gal is pretty much denuded so I will be harvesting at least that part of her fairly quickly. I'm trying to dry more slowly and take down plants in one piece or 2/3 for ones over 9 ft. Lots of work every day now. So glad I planned ahead and have all my supplies on hand!

yeah those frosts will definitely stress them hard but they will finish with those daytime temps. try putting a few fans on them it will stop the frost.

My grow is over a quarter mile from the house so no fans (I'd need several). It's been a real chore to haul water, I can tell you! We have a pond nearby but the drought's been so bad, I am questioning the water quality this year. Hence, filling a lot of containers at the hydrant and hauling a few at a time with a truck or ATV.

I've been through frost before but usually a little later. It's a very anxiety-provoking time. There is only one night that is expected to go to freezing (31) over the next couple of weeks a lots of sunny days so I'm pretty confident the buds will be able to finish to perfection without taking extraordinary measures :weed:

This is my fruity chronic juice from delicious seeds. Amazing plant thus far. It was planted way late and I did not expect much but she grew so damn fast. I am hooked on outdoor growing now.. Any ideas on how much longer till chop?
