what is the best way to use great white and other mycrobial products in hydroponics? my understanding is that these products need time to culture...so is it useless it just add it to the resevoir and water it in?

somebodies gonna come along and tell you to put worm poo tea in your res instead you know. The advantages to bennies in hydro aren't all that, ask heisenberg. the bennies are mainly to displace bad bacteria/fungi , in soil they do much more than that, I'm not competent enough to explain but if you read some you'll see.

you could just add it to the res.

but personal recc:
add it to some water with some molasses.
brew it for a few days(should start to foam). add to res.

They work well but I wouldn't just add it to the res. Make a tea useing it. Then top feed each plant and let it sit and drain to then it will mix into your res.

i used it for a couple of years with great root improvement. just add it to the res, but the big thing is you should replenish it every 4-5 days because the life cycle is not that long. i recently switched to pondzyme with barley and have never seen roots like i have now and overall plant health is fantastic. the pondzyme is much, much cheaper and last longer. i can understand what the brewing process does but to me it just sounds like a lot more work for the same thing.

Yes you need to add it alot. That is why I stoped using it. Still have a jar almost full sitting around. I have sence switched to Xtreme gardening mycos drops. Im in buckets and it let's me place 3-4 packs each bucket and it dissolves over time. I don't reapply. Roots take off like crazy.

beneficials are found in nature and assist the roots in absorbing proper elements, why kill them or run without them?

H2o2 is last ditch effort. Try and control it right first. This will save money and time. But if a problem gets out of hand nuke the bastards with h2o2. That's what I say.

I don't use DWC I use RDWC recirculating deep water culture which means the water constantly circulates round and round. I have a 2 gallon res which pumps water and nutes into another small pot like res which has a small pump in it which keeps the water moving and i have an oxygen feeder tube going into the roots and it ran off of two air pumps. i only use h202 when i switch out the res weekly, man you find research against both and i having been doing this for every run and it works great doesn't harm the plant and keeps the roots healthy. it doesn't kill any of the flora bloom or flora gro or liquid and dry kool bloom. my buddy that has been growing for 13 years does the same and his shit is unbelievable. Ill show a pic of his current grow shit i erased one except a shot of his chernobyl which is one week out of being done.

Not a prob jenks... Just so you know dwc is a style of growing a plant in deep water culture!
this culture includes many forms/styles of growing like rdwc or under current systems. So in
fact you are growing dwc. Not try to insult you jenks just trying to inlighten you a bit.

HellR:

Hey bro, What ratio NPK would you recommend for a hydro (flood&drain) setup? I've been reading some grows that had great results just using (veg) nutes for both cycles, high N & some P-K.. would like to know your .2s on this :)

Hey wiz how life treating you?

i like a even 1.1.1 and once im halfway through bloom i drop to .5.1.1 to much N late in flower will cause foxtailing
this is based on AN nutes three part.
