More light less plants or less light more plants. Ive recently had to cut the number of plants due to insufficient light and I was wondering if I could get more bud off of the plants I have now with same amount of lighting than I had from having more plants?

Yes. That would suffice but short answers can't be posted. More light penetration with less vegetation to cut through. Probably the same amount in weight or close but much better bud.

More light= more bud
less plants= less bud

you need good light on all your plants or you will end up with shit. You can try to train you plants to expose them to as much light as possible.

You should get roughly the same yield. More light more bud less light less bud. The amount of plants depends on how you are manipulating them. Less plants topped with lots of even canopy should produce around the same amount as more plants in a sog.
