There are a few problems with regular light bulbs. One is they are too red and out of the light spectrum weed prefers during veg and even flower. Two is they put out a small amount of lumens (light) for the wattage. Which leads to problem number three: heat. They burn hot like a regular HID, but only put out a fraction of the light forcing you to get the light close and tight to your plant and burning the shit out of it.

Save up 12 bucks and get a pack of two 23w spiral CFLs from walmart/home depot/lowes and get the 6500k color temp. That will be sufficient until you flower, then you will want to change it up to either 2700k color temp or even better... 150w HPS. Take it from me and my early shitty grows like this... having enough light is crucial.

Also, if his mom gets arrested for her son growing that piddly shit then something is horribly wrong with the world indeed.

His mom wouldn't get arrested. People don't like to be realistic. They think scaring kids without real reason is the way to go..idiots.

are you joking or what? you know there are still states where you can be arrested yes ARRESTED for possessing 1 gram of cannabis..... so no .. I am not just trying to scare this kid for no reason. I live in a MM state, and my father who has cancer was growing (with a state-legal permit/prescription). I watched as 2 days after major surgery the police came and raided our house... so don't talk to me about real reason.. you sir are the idiot in this situation... what we do here is ILLEGAL bar none... the feds have no problems locking any of us up .. because according to federal law it is illegal period. If you condone a teenager growing secretly in their parents house you are a real fucking piece of shit... ever think maybe his family has a business, and that asshole prosecutors love to take property and assets away relating to drugs? One of the worst posts I have ever read here.

Best advice i can give is what s jacket said.Dont worry bout growing weed. Study stay in school.then when you get out on your on out of ur mothers house,worry bout growing indoors. I can and will not promote kids 15 growing weed. But i dont know ur situation maybe ur parents are good with it. Sorry fellow roll it uppers. I know we share knowledge. But im outta here..

Kentucky a fucking roach possession charge. Ain't that sum dumb shit. Though we got a law coming up for medicinal marijuana in feb 2013.every one send good vibes lol

Although letting a minor cultivate a schedule 1 substance. She go to jail long time.

"Y" adapters are great. A bonus with them is being able to put 2 bulbs with different spectrums over your plant. Good advice.

for some reason i dont believe this... when i was 15 i got caught with a gram and a pack of butts in school. got suspended for a week and grounded for a month.... not fun

however if you are speaking truth, well, your mother needs to learn how to raise a child.

Just as much as I believe in the beneficial results cannabis can have for developed brains... I am against minors using any substances during their physical and emotional developmental stages.... My dad was a HUGE stoner... but the strictest sommomabitch when it came to us.... it is not a punishment... it is a gift to allow your brain's functions to develop as fully possible according to your genetics and fate :)

Go to school, get the grades, get a job, move out, invest in equipment you can actually grow something with and then grow your buds... your mom will appreciate the lack of nute stains all over the carpet anyway ahaha... thats all the knowledge iam sharing on this one, peace
