Ok 2nd round of popping seeds for me. I'm doing 1 Chernobyl and hoping for a female....if its a male no biggie....ill start over. I'm looking for the limey margarita goodness pheno!


For any of you who may not know some of subcool strains are some of the most dank hern you'll see. I've got a lot of respect for what their doing out there with Autisim as well. My hats off to the whole TGA crew for what they do as growers for the community and just being damn good hearted Americans!


Still using CFL's but will be upgrading to a 600 watt HPS & 6" inline fan with carbon filter by the time flower comes for sure. Ill most likely still veg inder CFL as I get great node structure with what I'm using for veg so ill stick with it and make my 3x3x4 ft. box my veg space. And build a 5x5x6 box for the 600 watt HPS. Any and all comment questions about my setup and what not all welcomed and appreciated! I don't troll and don't appreciate it in my journals so please if your here to bash or say anything nefetive then please just don't. Were all here for the good of the plant and this community.


Veg lights- Two 42w 6500k & Four 23w 5500k bulbs (Actual Watts 176)

Flower lights (for now)- One 250w 2700k winth wing reflector & Four 68w 2700k (Actual Watts. 522).


Veg Nutes- Advanced Nutrients- Sensi Grow A&B, Ancient Earth, B-52, House & Garden Roots Excelirator, Superthrive, Cal-Mag Plus, Humboldt County's own Killer Tea & Orca.


Flower Nutes- Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom A&B, Ancient Earth, Sensizym, Bud Candy, B52, Nirvana, Big Bud, Overdrive, Humboldt County's Own Crystal Burst, HCO Killer Tea, Cal-Mag Plus & Orca.


I also got a little bit of Roots Oregonism XL, Advanced Nutrients Carboload, And other things as well. Think of brewing a tea using the HCO Killer Tea as a base any thoughts or anyone using the Killer Tea from HCO hit me up.

Forgot to metion the Hempy Bucket. Ill be using 75% perlite to 25% coco in a 5 gal bucket with a pecil size hole drilled 2" from the bottom. That 2" bottom of the bucket will be 100% perlite and be your resivour. I PH to 5.7-6.0 and run 1 gal of nutes through each bucket every other day when roots have hit the bottom. A good rule of thumb however is to note the wieght of the bucket after a feeding vs. before feeding. Any other Hempy Growers feel free to chime in!

I'm subbed! My current grow is (18) 2 Liter Hempy's from clone, straight into flower, and finishing up another 2 liter hempy grow in a couple of weeks.

Chernobyl Day 13 of veg. I like to run veg 24 hrs since I use CFL's its not to big a deal on cost of electricty. She Was fed just 5ml to the gallon of the Humboldt County's Own Killer Tea PH'd to 5.8. She/He loved it!

Chernobyl is on day 18 of life & has been fed 2ml of each Sensi Grow A & B, 1ml of Anicent Earth, 1ml of B-52, 5ml of HCO Killer Tea, 1ml of Cal-Mag Plus, 1ml of Orca, 0.25ml of Roots Excelirator & 1 drop of Superthrive, PH'd to 5.8. All numbers are per gallon. Next feeding ill up the dose a lil bit. Also she was topped fr the first time today. Pic is right before she was topped.

I'm not sure about Uncle Bens Method but I top early (4 nodes) and often(I give the plant 2 weeks to recoupe bfore I do anything else so I do my super cropping the same time I top). This works for me in my setup and my not for you. These things are also strain dependent I beieve so always do some reading on that strain from that breeder here or google.


And nope....no PPM meter yet but I've been getting by without one so far but ill be getting one eventually. I do have a PH pen though. I run my nutes pretty low so I'm hoping to not have to worry about it.....well see what happens!

Yea, I had never tried the Uncle Ben's method before cause I was starting from Clone, and they were mature, so the Nodes were intermittent and you could not really do the Uncle Ben's properly.. Well I finally got the Balls to order seed and start from Scratch!! Topped as per Uncle Ben's instructions and got 4 Tops per plant. Whats also great is the way they grow, the tops tend to weigh to the outside, and it opens up the inside for more light penetration. That's just me throwing this out there, cause I was pretty impressed with the way it worked, figure I should spread the word :lol:

My HATS OFF to you if you can work your grow without a PPM meter :mrgreen:.. My hydro days force me to feed based on PPM's, and my Guessing sucks, so I rely on my Hanna Meter (which I have a love hate relationship with,, Mostly Hate though).

I use uncles bens technique but i top earlier like you do and the LST the 4 main colas.this was Grapefruit Diesel, im sorry if you didnt want other pics posted in your journal just let me know an i wont again.

Thanks everyone who's subbed up and watching!


Chernobyl is looking a lil droopy after her transplant today but should be fine. Transplanted from a solo hempy cup to a three litre hempy bottle. I'm trying a 50/50 mix of coco & perlite so well see how that goes. Ill be transplanting her into a white 5 gal hempy bucket in about 2 weeks or so and she will flower in that.


She was fed directly after transplanting her. Numbers are per gallon. 4ml of each Sensi Grow A & B, 4ml of HCO Killer Tea, 2ml of Ancient Earth, 2ml of B-52, 2ml of Cal-Mag Plus, 1.5ml of Orca, 0.5ml of Roots Excelirator & 1 drop of Superthrive.....PH'd to 5.8.


Also I have a 600 watt iPower ballast, cooltube, HPS bulb, hangers & timer kit coming should have it by the begining of next week! No inline fan yet but its that time of year where I should be able to get away without having one. Super stoked to see what I can do with an HPS setup!

Chernobyl Starting week 4 of life being fed the ever hated Advanced Nutrients.



Sensi Grow A & B 6ml of each, 3ml of Ancient Earth, 3ml of B-52, 2.5ml of Cal-Mag Plus, 1.5ml of Orca, 0.5ml of Roots Excelurator & 1 drop of Superthrive. I also want to say yes you can grow with much less and do great. I don't and I don't knock antone for what they do. That being said Uncle Ben is a piece of work. This guy trolls looking for guys asking for questions about advanced nutrients and dogs the shit out of them. He's one guy who thinks his shit don't stink and needs to keep his opinion to himself. Grow with what you want and find what you like best, I think that's all apart of the fun Plus most these guys gorw outdoors and want to talk about how they pull 20 oz. Off plants and wat not well I hope so your OUTDOORS! Wen someones gorwing in a small box they get get those kind of numbers. I just really dislike gorwers like him who have more negetive things to say then positive.




Sorry about that just wanted it off my chest. Anyways she's loving her snake oil poision LOL. She's getting transplaned tomorrow to a 5 gal bucket.
