spider mites destroying my seedling

hi guys i have been having probs with my seedling of late brown edges little brown spots upin furthet notice i have spoted these so called spider mitesthey r destroying my plant i no people say neem oil but i cant get it here i have been using this pyrethum stuff instead how often should i spray it and does this get rid of them or is there a other substance i can use aswell

I've heard that pyrethum makes them breed faster I read it somewhere two spotted spider mite breeding faster due to exposure to pyrethum...I hate those bastards...good luck

man those SHOULD be very simple to deal with on a seedling.neem seems harsh for a seedling so I'm gonna push mighty wash by npk industries once again.

alcohol and water at a 1-3 ratio kills the mites but not the eggs....im sure it works 100 percent...spray entire plant once every three days the reason for this is because at a three day interval any newly hatched mites will never become sexually mature and so with no new population you eventually win HOWEVER if you miss just a couple little mites they will repopulate and this will have to be repeated so watch closely for the few days after you do this. oh and rinse the plant well with plain water after each application maybe ten mins after the alcohol/water.

mighty wash kills eggs but then so does petroleum oil if you hit them.

I used insecticidal soap a couple times a week till they were gone. I tried neem first but the soap worked better. I nuked the space with bleach between grows but they were back, so I'm not growing there anymore. Food for thought.

I wouldnt spray seedlings with that stuff. You could burn them up and damage the plant. Brown spots all over.

If they are seedlings you can gently wash the plant. Be a good daddy.

Just about any recommended cure works if you get the dosage right.

And then its how you apply it use your stuff with a sprayer that leaves puddles and you will get brown spots if you use to much under heavy lights.

I use a sprayer that makes a very fine mist and what you need is mighty wash for spider mites apply once a week with the proper sprayer and right dosage and you wont have a mite problem. And with the sprayer I use it cost me less than chump change to spray my grow because you will use so much less than you would if you use a sprayer that, well - sucks.

Habenera peppers, finely chop 4 -5 peppers, simmer for 20 minutes (don't boil) in 1 pint of water, let cool, wear saftey goggles (don't get in eyes), cover mouth & nose as to not breathe in the solution & spray under, on top of leaves, stems, main stalk, dirt, around pot and surrounding areas as mites are migrational, might have to do a couple of times 2 or 3 days after original spraying. Pepper juice won't harm the plant, then spritz with clean water.
