Stumbled across the threads on DIY bubble cloners...gee, I wish I wouldn't have seen those threads:
125W CFL. Two 8" airstones, one for each group of six positioned long ways under each group. Heating pad set on medium. Not currently using pin timer; some thread suggest cycling bubbler. Will run pad and air pump continuous for this run, watching that the water temp doesn't rise above about 83-ish.
We've all seen these built a million times, so I won't slop up this thread w/ DIY B.S. What's a bit different about mine is the use of Aluminum foil to block all light. No paint, or sticky solvent-based rubber coatings or any of that shit. If this prototype works, I'll expand to a 30 site design.
