At the very least wouldn't you have a court ruling from which to defend yourself? As a juror, I would look at it pretty seriously.
Yes the dea hasn't messed with little guys since the first term of the G.W. Bush administration. Because most of the time unless they had valid proof of conspiracy to sell/give away it never worked out well from a political standpoint. Does anyone remember the story of Robert Randal? The first MMJ Patient in the U.S.? It was ruled that denying him cannabis which could save his eyesight and prevent severe pain would be cruel and unusual punishment. Case in point as to why patients themselves have relatively little to worry about; from the DEA at least.i think a medical defense becomes available, which would be a very big deal
but dea doesn't bother with the little guy, only big ops, so those operations probably won't change imho
