What are some good strains to smoke in the early afternoon that wont make you feel tired? I heard that sativas are good, but not good for anxiety. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions...

Ye their are a few good anti anxious variety's. Something like a Haze you need to avoid.
If you can find a C99 hybrid (grapefruit, DTC99).
Seeds like
Velvet Bud - White Skunk - Nep Jam
These are good not to heavy but worth growing
heavy hitters like La nina. Black Widow, (all have a Indica influence)

This is my understanding. Maybe we could get more light on the subject. Sativas are for people that need to focus (A.D.D) and want more energy. I like to move furniture around when I smoke a nice sativa. Indicas are more for the narcotic effect (couch lock). I think it depends on when you harvest too, which I'm experimenting with right now. I'm taking clones and harvesting early, on time, and late with both strains. I guess the ultimate would be an early harvest sativa and a late harvest indica?

Thats cool.. I might try them out. Do you know anything about setting up a PO box.. like at a post office? I'm going to get some visa prepaid cards and order 1 pack from 4 different websites. I don't want them coming to my house so I was thinking about setting up a PO box but I don't want to use my name. Any advice?

With each variety their is that variety! Each to their own n all that With a sativa like haze your talking THC 15+% and small amounts of cannabinoids so getting a more up high.
Some of todays hybrids contain a good % of indica to control the edginess.

Ok. What's the strain with the highest amount of sativa? I'd like to focus my efforts on that. What's the edginess we're talking about. Psycho-activity?

You can find a number of 100% sativas out there, though most are recommended for outdoor growing, presumably due to height requirements. I've been looking around for an indoor suitable sativa and I think I'll probably end up going with some Willie Nelson after I get set up to grow. Kinda pricey ($110 US for a 10pk), but it looks worth it.Just my two cents.

haha if you smoke 100% sativa you'll have such a soaring high, I'm not sure if you want that for medicine. I'd go more 70/30 sativa/indica.

You asked about "how much" sativa could be in a plant and I thought I'd just chime in with some info. There are a shit load of cannabinoids in pot, THC and CBDs are two of the most important. High THC and low CBD will give you an energetic mind-high (found most in sativas) and low THC high CBD will put you in a couch lock (found most in indicas).

Hybrids are beautiful because you get the best of both worlds without committing too much to either. I had some Blueberry99 a while ago and although less CBD (more sativa) would've been nice it was a very pleasant medicinal high.

I'll look around for some. In the mean time, can you suggest your favorite top 5? Is SSH in the top 5? I just transplanted 12 that I started from seed a month ago that are looking mighty good.

Check chocolope or nebula for a good sativa.

nebula is a really soaring high. 9.75 on my list.

yes, very good ones at that.

Check out NNCC for good clones.

As well as GAM

I can vouch for both of their quality genetics.
