I don't usually take pills but I just got my wisdom teeth pulled. My face is numb now but I know it will be wearing off soon ...

What are the side effects of vicodin ?
And does anybody here take it even tho you don't have pain ?why ?

I'd much rather smoke but I don't think that would be a good idea

vicodin is pretty mild stuff taken at prescription dose, no matter what people say. i don't find it has much recreational purpose unless you take so much that the acetaminophen burns a hole in your liver.

it's good for the type of pain from having teeth removed, and it pairs well with cannabis imo. with weed it has a bit of recreational use, but don't go overboard because of the acetaminophen in it (tylenol).

only side effects i've had was upset stomach from not eating first.

I hate using it in a recreational manner. It just makes me nauseous. It will, however, work well for dulling the pain you're feeling right now. My opinion: just take the recommended dosage.

Hydrocodone aka Vicadine may be on the lower end of the opiates scale but it still can pack a big punch if you have no tolerance.

I use to be able to feel fucked up off of 5mg hydro and10 or 15mgs would make me sick.

When I had my wisdom teeth taken out, the doc loaded me up on them. I had no tolerance at the time either.

No bad side effects.At least in the majority of people.

By the way, you could still smoke some green. Use a gravity bong or something similar where the smoke is already there and all you have to do is breath in. No sucking air.

what strength is your vicodin? if you have no tolerance, it will give you a high.

Dont even start down that road, Just my opinion. I'm not trying to be a hypocrite because I take them regualry [prescribed] and follow the dosage pretty close maybe a little over and even then, when I dont have one shit sucks.lol they are addicting. I'm responsible enough so I can keep it in check but ALOT of people I know cant. They start taking more and more then come the percs, then the roxys etc. You start chasing that dragon. If your in pain by all means take them but from your post it seems you just want to take them too, which by all means I feel ya brother. Just be careful and responsible. Also dont go over 4000mg of tylenol a day! They recenty changed it to 3000mg.a day so.....

Ah, the blessed Nitrous Oxide.....lol the last time I had that done, I told the dentist to turn it up a little...he did all right...LOL I about melted into my seat lol. He had to tone it down just a bit. Sure does help take the mind off of sharp objects doing stuff in my mouth.

Believe me I'm not about to get addicted to pills,I don't drink ,smoke cigs, hell I don't even like taking tylonol and Advil when i have a headache.

It's just that the numbness is wearing off and I'm starting to feel the pain of the surgery.

Oh greenhorn they say 5-500mg TAB
it reccommends I take 1 every 6 hours as needed for pain

taking one should be perfect if your not a pill popper. it will take away your pain and will probably give you a high. might even give you nausea in the beginning just cause your not a pill popper. if you take 2, you'll probably not feel very good. ...... if your a regular pill popper, than 5 mgs is a weak dose.

Yeah bro, I hear ya. Hope I didnt come off ''preachy'' and sorry if i did. haha I remember when I went to get my wisdom teeth taken out. I had to pay for it myself cause I didnt have insurance and the gas was an extra $500 so I went with out. That bastard just gave me a shot to numb it and went to yanking and cutting, not even a little mercy puff of gas.lol

DEFINITLY take them as prescribed cuz I was given Vicodin after surgery and I knew they would get me high so I ate 4 and loved them! But I noticed I started wanting more so I was lucky enough to stop taking them cold turkey but weed helped me with that.

i just took a 750 mg hydrocodone because my whole body hurts from working too hard. or maybe im just too old.

i dont usually take them because they keep me awake. i must have about 300 of them in my dresser. every time i go to the doc, he gives me more.

750 must be the amount of acetiminophen. 750 mg's of hydro at one time sounds like an overdose to me

i've taken 10+ and have been fine.. been pretty fucked up, but still able to function.
and you posted pics of yourself before, you're a bigger dude than i am. so i'm sure 2 will be perfectly fine, might not even get you buzzed.

remember, it's not the vicodin you need to worry about. it's the apap.
