The guy in BC who hates Americans and charges $150 for 5 seeds has it. Dr. Greenthumb. The only guy with the Iranian autoflower people are clamoring for. My experience with these autos tells me screw these things. It's called Matanuska Thunderfuck. It will kick your ass.

I would love to get ahold of that strain too, often wondered about sagarmatha's matanuska.
There are several strains out that supposedly come close. With no mapped genetics it's hard to say. Greenthumb says it's mainly sativa and with our looooong summer days it may well be but it's a stoner regardless. Greenthumb probably has it as BC is our next door neighbor.

Sagarmatha sounds legit as far as taste and says "Indica" which would be my guess living here. Seedsman has one with Tundra in it claiming the Tundra is "pure Indica". But Seedsman's is a hybrid using Tundra. Tundra was used to polish up "Thunderfuck" because we have no tundra anywhere near the Mat Su region. Nobody here named it that shit.

The rumors back in the day were that it was a worked hippy line, one would assume there would be a seed trail somewhere right?
I got to toke some back in the 90s (supposedly) lol who knows, was dank. One of those "moments", back then people weren't very specific about the names or origins. We used to get some killer bluish nuggy buds that was simply referred to as "humboldt", I'm sure I'll never know what that was. It was wicked killer though!

Thanks for the info hotrodharley!

Some old school types i used to know claim its
panama red x northern lights, that comes from
multible sources. But after the big lake fire! It
all but vanished!

I am guessing (only) but I think a lot of the ATF heritage is from Mazar i Shirifi. Very very cold tolerant, very drought tolerant, resists bud molds - just very tolerant of shit conditions and is even harvested in the snow in Afghanistan. Very stony! But that's a just a guess.

don't get fooled. Matanuska Thuderfuck is the original plant. Matanuska Tundra, Alaskan Thunderfuck are crosses IF they have a Matanuska Thunderfuck to cross to

I have never smoked the real deal. I have grown Sagmartha's, it was one of the first when I was just getting a handle on things. She was amazing to me then, smelled like someone ran over a skunk when you pop open a jar. I wouldn't mind revisiting her. I have no idea how it compares to a real deal.
