I have a Hawaiian snow started flowering it five weeks ago... it is on an alternating water/feed schedule.
It is a 12 week flowering strain, and is in MG soil ( I have grown in MG before but with a different strain "big bang" ) and all went well...
The issue im having here is that the leaves are turning yellow... the stems are reddish (which doesnt concern me to much) but its the yellowing of the leaves...
It is in a 5 GAL pot temps are usually around 80-84 and Humidity is usually 30-40% (lower humidity for flowering)
Height is 46" and SLOWLY growing but seems like its stopping and now focusing on flowers more...
Now i have read up that yellowing of the leaves is normal in flowering since the plant uses alot more energy (taking energy from the leaves) when it starts focusing on flower production...
But my concern is it is a 12 week strain... and im 5 weeks in which leaves it with 7 weeks left... Does it not seem to soon for the leaves to start yellowing...
I am sticking to my feeding schedule and not adding more nutes due to the fact adding more nitrogen to a flowering plant can inhibit it and bad starts happening...
The food im using is a 10-15-10 this should suffice shouldnt it?
Also if im alternate feeding it, it should still be fine even if the leaves start yellowing no? since it is still getting the NPK from the nutes... but thats why
I would like everyone's input!
The plant is growing, the buds are growing, but im scared that the yellowing of the leaves may effect the yield or possibly worse?...
Here are some pictures of the plant to give a better idea of what im seeing here...
any suggestions or tips/thoughts and what not will be very helpful!!!
The lower leaves are yellowing and withering, mid leaves are not so much yellow but kind of getting there, and the smaller flower sites are still dark green...
Using 600w in cooltube with 6" vortex fan
BY THE WAY the leaves are all droopy because its night time for it now lol... the are normally perky
