So I just knocked the mites off my 22 or so Jilly Bean ladies with two weeks of Azamax every 3 days @ 2oz to a gallon, full strength; right now they're about 2 weeks into flower. Last night I went in to do the regular 72 hour spraydown of Azamax and their first budsies with some nice pistil growth have popped up. I tested it a bit on one of the less happy ladies and sure enough the pistils fried up in a few hours, and I'm using it at normal strength. The mites are mostly gone now, at least I can't see any but I've been battling them long enough to know they're still somewhere.
This leaves me searching for a milder spray that I can use as a regular follow-up to keep them from re-establishing now that the azadirachtin has wiped them out. In the past I used Mighty Wash to try and eliminate an existing problem; it held them back but didn't wipe them out. I feel it would work well for my purposes now, however and know from experience it's "bud safe" but I'd like to find an organic alternative since I'll be soaking my buds in it. I'll stray outside of organics if I absolutely must, though.
I'm not sure on it but I beleive Neem at full strength will burn buds, and the Azamax sure does. How about either of those at half or quarter strength?
Thanks for reading, any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated I apologize if this post is better suited for the plant problems > bugs forum, I felt organics would be best because I'd prefer an organic solution.
