NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) – Federal authorities have arrested a New York City police officer in connection with a failed plot to kidnap women and cook them.

According to the complaint, Officer Gilberto Valle used his home computer to discuss plans to “kidnap, rape, torture, kill, cook and eat body parts” of several women.
Valle kept files on his computer about more than 100 women, containing a photo and address for each, according to the complaint. The FBI identified 10 women who said they knew the officer.
Valle allegedly researched methods of “disabling and drugging women, and agreeing with at least one other individual to kidnap a woman in exchange for a sum of money.”
No women were harmed. The 28-year-old officer lives in Forest Hill, Queens. He had been assigned to the 26th Precinct in Manhattan before his suspension on Wednesday. Valle was on the force for six years.

I wonder if him and his cannibal buddies discuss whether a pre-cook flush is in order to rid the meat, er, women, of drugs...

so this is what it takes to fire an officer, i guess. i've only seen the word "suspension" in articles. is he still getting paid or what?

some of the longer articles go into detail about what he said in emails and on facebook, and the weird way his apartment was child-proofed with signs everywhere telling you to wash your hands. it's particularly creepy because none of the pictures of him show him with crazy eyes, but it is creepy how he makes the same face in every photo.
