Ok so im running 6 (i think lemon haze) plants in 3 gal pots, 1mx1m tent 600w hps, currently around 2.5-3 ft tall and in day 14 of flower, ive lollipoped all plants so ive a nice canopy to work with but what im wondering is, can i now introduce a scrog net even though the main colas are maybe 5-6 inchs taller then the rest of the side branchs on each plant? Would the rest of the plant catch up to the main cola and create the wonder that is a sea of green at this stage or am i to late? Any advice or info would be appriciated guys as ive never introduced the net to my grows!

Normally using the same method but with blue cheese im pulling around 290-300g dry weight without using the net but then im only getting one main cola and alot of nice firm squash ball sized nuggets from each plant.

Thanks for your time!

If your only in day 14 you should be good, I always pull runaway tops down so all stay at the same level. I'd throw it on now. I usually SCROG my plants right when I throw them into bloom and then let them grow up through the net. Never done it later than that.

It really depends on the strain and how long it will stretch, but you can alwase train the top cola under the screen. you may still have timeTo fill the screen if it's a long flowering strain, but with 6 plants that shouldn't be a prob, And what's tha worst that could happen? It should give the bottom nugs some more weight and better yeald in the long run.
Good luck and happy growing fellow scroger. :weed:

too late............................imo
The more I think about it the more I agree with you. The first few weeks of Bloom are usually when the plant growth rate is highest. I've seen 2 inch straight up growth over night(which is when my light is on) in my set-up in the first couple weeks. But if you could OP, I would pull down and tie the runaway tops at the same level as the rest, that evens out where they send their growth hormone(forgot the name, smoke too much) and you'll still get the same effect as a SCROG.

thanks for the response guys, i think ill just let them run abit longer without the net and see how much growth occurs in height, and then if possible just loosely tie a loop around the side branchs to add support but also push them towards the light abit more.

Gonna need to look into scrogging abit more before i attempt it i think as ive never done it before, especially if i can pull the same amount of weight from less plants using the scrog method!

p.s how much would you expect to get dry weight using scrog with say 4 blue cheese/lemon plants in the same size pots, tent and light?

Very intrigued by you scrog guys and your monster yeilds! lol
