Best Root Additive??

So what is a really good for the buck root helping additive?? Just one that you have seen results from please. I know many claim many things so if you have not used it but just read about it please note that. Thanks.. This is more for in flower than in veg...

Ps. Sorry. This is a hydro set up using tubes with sprayers. I need something to get the roots happy in flower. New strain new roots but a bit of a slow go from what I am used to. Thanks... Roots! Additive!? Worth the money is what we are looking for.

From my limited time with hydro, if you are getting abd root growth then there is something wrong with your setup. Don't focus on additives to aid it, focus on what the problem might be.

I have used Voodoo Juice in hydro and soil and swear by it. With that said, only first two weeks of veg and first two weeks of flower is all it takes. The rest of the time Molases, 1 tsp per gallon in soil dont work in hydro.

had decent results with filtered CTs under dwc/sprayer setups.
voodoo juice does work but its a bit pricey.

I have been having some great results with Hygrozyme. I am a root freak and love watching roots grow outside my smart pots. Since I have been using Hygrozyme my roots have increased dramatically in size. I think Blast Off from Botanicare is another great root product.

you need a beneficial bacteria. i used greatwhite for a while but found pondzyme is just as good or beeter for 1/4 the cost. my plants have never had such good roots and yields. check my thread.

There's nothing there, only water. 1-.5-1, are you kidding me? Even if the food was a whopping 30-15-30, a tsp. in 5 gallons isn't going to affect a plant one way or the other. The amount of extracts is bogus too. Your root production was not due to the use of another GH snake oil.

The only workable additive is good leaf production, and keeping your money in your wallet.

GH rapidstart is the tits...i think you should double check your res temps, give your res/sprayers a good clean with mild hydrogen peroxide mixture, etc....FIRST, but i seriously love it. used it since my first hydro grow throughout the duration of each cycle, and it just puts outs killer results. super concentrated so you dont have to use much and its relatively cheap.

If you've used it from your first hydro grow, have you also done side by side to see if it actually makes a difference? I find in hydro i can have nothing but plain water and i get mad root growth.

Root additives are my new area of research and improvement in my garden. Seems to be 3 areas of additives and my experience so far is limited.

1) root hormone - stimulates root growth used in veg and early flower. So far I like root exelurator. The bottle is a little expensive but it goes a long way.
2) beneficial bacteria - used in veg and early flower to establish root colonies of bacteria that work in a symbiotic relationship with your roots. Once you build your colonies you need to add sugars to help them feed the bacteria. Voodoo juice, piranha, and taruntula are ANs version of this but very expensive. I use Great White, it seems to be a reasonably priced alternative and a little goes a long way with this.
3) enzymes - used in mid to late flower as root maintence. These help break down dead root matter, clean roots, and allow more root surface area to uptake nutes. These are the most expensive of the three and in my limited experienced opinion the least important of the 3. Sensizyme, hydrozyme, cannazyme are all examples of an enzyme products.

zyme products not needed before mid flower (if at all)?

Veg+Bloom and this, the before and after should prove some credit at the least.
