how true are the estimated yields per square meter?

ok so the vanilla kush strain im growing its estimated yield is 600 grams per m2 how much truth is in this?

Depends on how you grow, what kind of lights you use and the ratings of them, nutes, co2, ventilation etc. You can make any strain do whatever you want it to do to its physical restraints. Like using LST when they are young, topping, supercropping, etc. You could essentially fill an entire grow box with nothing but one plant LST it to hell, grow it vertically then horizontally. Dude the possibilities are limitless

guess your right there atm i have 11 under 1 600w hps 9 in 11 litre pots and 2 in 18 litres and im using ghe nutes pretty decent ventilation is it asking too much for 2 oz per plant?

It's possible. Those descriptions are written by the seed companies so take any of the weights and flowering times with a grain of salt...

You are not going to get a pound and a half off a 600 watt. More plants dont equal more yield,it's mainly the wattage that dictates how much you are going to get. Under a 600 watt, 1/2 to 3/4 pound is average. Whether it is one big plant that you have trained or a bunch of small ones,just try and have a nice full even canopy. If you have 11 plants under one 600 they should be flowered small and not in pots that large,11 and 18 liters seems a little too big. Sorry,not trying to sound like a dick,just giving some realistic pointers. Good luck,and oh..usually when they say yield per square meter..thats under ideal conditions with 1000 watt. I know people claim crazy numbers sometimes but Im speaking on average.

They are ussually pretty accurate as long as you dot i's and cross t's and keep the environment as close to perfect as possible, especially using CO2. CO2 is key for getting a high yield.
