See you cant do that man. What works for one person doesnt always work for another. So you take one persons advice and try it out and dont work how it should and boom your screwed and pissed at the person.I'm just to start a drip feed system on a timer, apparently it doesnt make much difference but whats the best time to have it feeding?

Set your system up, let it run for a bit then stop, keep an eye on it and pay attention to the leaves of the plants they will tell you when they are thirsty. That will give you a good idea of how to set the timer of feeding.
Also at different stages of the plants life it'll require more feedings (usually later in life) Thats why you have to dial your system according to your setup. Outside and soil grows are different, and 1 important thing since your just starting out with DWC systems you better make sure you keep your PH where it should be. New people starting out in most cases have a hard time with PH. If this is your first grow id recommend soil and a lot of research.
Keep in mind, chucky is speaking outdoor growing and how he does it for outside. Your trying to get into deep water culture, thats indoor hydro. You water in the morning and leave em by the end of ay you will be ordering new seeds .#
Thank you for very detailed reply This isn't my first grow though, just first time experimenting with things, and i have space problem, my lights touch top of my plants so watching my babies leaves isnt that easy i was just trying to get an idea of when, i think i'm going to set it in the morning so that my babies can evap like chucky said
Thanks man, it didn't even occur to me, even though now that you mention it, I do remember Cann speaking before of hydro.Keep in mind, chucky is speaking outdoor growing and how he does it for outside. Even though you have grown before and prob aware of this im gonna say it again ;P. You water plants when they are thirsty not on a watering schedule. If anything set the time to go off every 4-5 hours
Well, when he mentioned a drip system, first thing I thought of was when I was a kid and worked at a nursery and used to help people do drip systems for their outdoor or greenhouse gardens. Thanks bro I miss out on small details too, usually get bashed for it. Well you know i have a fan club out to get me here (at least in outdoor forum) lol....
