Hello Friends!
I recently decided that i would upgrade my growing space to allow 2 flowering locations; one for running proven clones and a smaller, separate space for testing seeds. I ended up purchasing a 4x4 tent with a 600w hps and a 10 pack of Spacedawg to take everything for a test drive. I put all 10 seeds into root riot cubes, which were set in a standard nursery tray/humidity dome under a T8 light fixture. Within 3 or 4 days all 10 had sprouted, and they all went into 1gal hard pots with roots original straight outta the bag (well, sorta straight outta the bag. i dump my base soil into trash cans and let it "cook" right along with my super soil). I let the seedlings do their thing in those pots for about 10 days, at which point i tossed the runt into the compost pile and transplanted the remaining 9 plants into 5gal hard pots with 50-55% super soil (i use sub's recipe, with some tiny adjustments). They vegged for a couple weeks, i took clones and culled the 2 males, i gave them a few days to recover, and started 12/12 on 10-13-2012. I am very pleased with what i have seen thus far, but only 1 shall survive to be grown another day! I am looking for a high horsepower nigh time smoke that is pleasing to the pallet, i hope to find that here. I plan to show all you dudes the progress with updates. This will be my very first project involving photography so please hang in there with me, and i would love some advise on the pictures. Thanks for stopping by!
Ps: i know someone will point it out before long, but i know i have too many plants in this tent! i wasn't expecting to get 7 females out of 10 seeds... what a problem to have eh?
