big basking area, a little tunnel for themto get trapped jk, to hide. a cover that velcros up cause the room is in use a lot and the little one tends to be shy. and not bask in the open. its a "planted tank" lol i keep some swords im trying to get growing and fish in there so they dont get eaten as quickly. then i have a gravel shallow water area im thinking about putting something there but i dont know what yet. red eared sliders if your wondering.
some seedling moved some to the lower level and planted some clones today. also built a 2 bulb t5 light out of foil tape an old 2 bulb t5 ballast and half a 4" cardboard tube, piece of wood and some hooks. was about to set the tent onfire at first fucking around with loose endcaps but that has been fixed works great know.
purple not much to report, stunted from not feeding just fed yesterday hopefully things will pick up
from left to right just entered flower(exept Cream been in for a week)
WWxBgum, still unsure of sex looks too bushy to be a male tho, Cream, and Woody Haze.

checked again today couldnt help it got some mycelium on B+ now its a waiting game for sure. moved the incubation tub into my bedroom cause it warmer.

why autos are bad.
A) you cant clone them
B) the flowering period and size are hard to control
C) cant really breed them either if they are Feminized
they should be offered at a lower price than reg seeds and most definitley fem seeds, and if its a fem auto it should be the cheapest cause the pretty much guarantees that you have to buy more seeds, unless you herm and cross between strains.
all in all fem auto are the most trademarked and corporate for of seed, this type of seeds should be very cheap because it is an intentionally inferior product regardless of the work it take to make it.

well you can breed a fem auto you just need to have a male auto as well, the best thing i think to do with auto's is to grow out 1 male and female and let them share a room, get a ass ton of seeds and just weed out the males as you grow your reg beans. (if your going to go with a full auto grow)
i grew out one auto, it was a freebie and i enjoyed growing it, i probabally would never pay for one but i will grow out the freebies for sure.

for freebies their alright and your right if i ever got any autos i would aim to get a shit ton of seeds. but the price for the seed should be super cheap because of what they are.

haha chipotles getting some marketing in my pic.. using their napkins soaked in iso alcohol to wipe everything down often.
of forgot to say that you need to add that to your list truepunk. look for it on sale one day i was at giant eagle they had 1L 91% iso on sale for 1.25 ea. i bought like 5 i only recently ran out and had to buy some krogers brand, i personally think it is purer.

the WWxBubblegum i put into flower (in above pic with 2 plants on the lef) has not shown preflowers in fact it may be a male and that would be very very very very good. because a) all my plants look fem and are growing in an ideal manner for the hybrid strains that are(holding true to original phenos) and B) male hermie gentics are whats up C) i can Bx all my seeds to the mothers and stabilize some strains if its a female oh well, but its looking like a male this would make me super happy.
even if one herms out i think i would be pleased but the purplexbubblegum is clearly female and both have been treated harshly from birth so if they where gonna express hermie traits they would have by now.

purples coming along nicely, not yielding as i would like, not really the strain for vert no stretch, and then on top of that a lot of adversity over came. oh well i got 3 sativa dom.(1 might be a male cross your finger for yes) starting their way into flower they should prove more dept the cream is taking to vert like, white on rice though, mass streeeetch. also im thinking the purps got about 3-5 weeks left.

WWXBUBBLEGUM IS A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now to figure out what all to breed with it and where to put it... looks like shrooms and male are getting combined :/
but im so happy its a boy really really good news to know that i bred with a bubble gum male hermie, extremely rare! on top of that this plant is a perfect male, super bushy and branchy just like a female got some stink and its looking like a yielder if it where female.
so i will have an ideal backcross of WWxBubble gum, which i will hope to do again, if not i will stabilize the backcross as its own strain. i will also breed these 2 hybrids together to begin to develop a F1 population. im also thinking i will breed to a purplexbublegum or even possibly the kushxbubblegum to bring back some of the bubble gums genetics.
dont know a lot of options here this is a one of a kind male, just, stoked.
also side note i think i perfected my errhem "brand" name, remember is said "brand X" genetics? it also makes great intial implying something even better(backcross)

also i kinda got a question but this would really take someone whos done a lot of breeding to tell me, should i clone my WWxbubblegum that i pollinate with the male in order to use that female again in feminized strains, i mean how closely should i follow the fem breeding program i understand i want them to have the same traits as reg but i kinda have different goals for my fem seeds vs. my reg seeds.
i will probably have clones of them regardless just thinking along the lines of, im gonna pick the plant thats the most expressive and wider phenotype range for reg seeds and a plant that holds more true to the original phenotypical traits for fems seeds, this could mean different mothers but same genetics for those reasons.
complicated i know.

i havent done alot of breeding but i would say just collect shit loads of pollem amd freez, im pretty sure shit stays viable for years and only needs a tiny bit for lots of seeds

i have a clone of him, he will get marked and left in veg for as long ass possible, his fucking cone rooted ridiculously fast compared to my other plants too.
but i will store the pollen in the fridge for about a year ,max, ive only had pollen stay good about 6 months unfortunately.
but back to why not use the freezer, because if you dont move the pollen to the fridge then out of the cold to warm, IE straight out of freezer to counter. condensation will build inside the container or package and make you pollen non-viable. on top of that high grade drug cannabis is known for not seeding well because it has been bred out, ive pollinated using tons of pollen many times only to have way less seed return to me than i thought would. this is not true all the way around but it varys from plant to plant.

this is why i stopped tlaking about genetics. too many damn words. and writing and not being able to point and say "this plant here" makes it very difficult to describe exact process.
oh and Matt i will have some more pics of mushroom stuff up tomorrow or the next day, substrate, casing, fruiting chamber design all that jazz. im kinda considering doing bulk mushroom though, not magical of course, but after seeing this in action and the simplicity of it, makes me want to produce! i can see how larger scale mushroom growers have issues and things start to get pricey as far as equipment goes. but i could make mad turn rounds growing valuable mushrooms in a rented space.

substrate setup and casing in the bag all prepped up plant of room fom some expansion, air stone will go in the perlite unfortunately bought the wrong tub and only one tray fit. then i still need to figure out how im gonna mount the light inside or if i will just find a place for the tub to sit. thats my simple glove box it was a little better in design but kept flling apart so im just gonna keep it simple. substrate jars Golden teach to the left B+ to the right. 2 jars not in because they did not germ. lastlyjars are GT tp left B+ to right.
my 3rd tent finaly setup. made its frame with PVC and killed my hands in the process, bought a shitty cutter and measure ments where impossible so i had to make adjustments as i built it :/
had a burn out in my DIY T5 i know why it happened, i caused it playing with it, but after seeing this i did not rebuild i just put a t12 from flower in there, i can rebuild it later or use the ballast for other things. and THANKFULLY i got a root from a woody haze i though that bitch was not gonna clone and its the last survivior the other is in flower. speaking of flower ill get some shots up later everything is wet right now just fed every one.
