how to clone

anyone got any good leads on information/education on cloning? all the basics such as when and how.i don't want to start "wackin" on my plants only to have stems not take! any info would be greatly appreciated! Smoke On.

Work speedily, use a razor, and keep it clean...

ok wish me luck cause the dumbest thing happened while i was saying goodnight to the plants, i broke the top completely off of a very nice fem.(no i wasn't THAT baked)- had to use all of my crash course in cloning knowledge to try to save this. i took the liberty of taking two more cuttings from it as well. didn't have the rooting gel so took the advice of another of crushing a couple of aspirin up in a water bottle and dipped em in there before i put them in little peat pots. gosh darn I really hope this works! put a plastic bag around them and blew in it and closed it up!

From my understanding/exp clones work best when taken from the bottom of the plant... Im not sure how it's gonna turn out. If your still in veg just bush her out and everything should be ok.

A few air holes in the bag yeh?
(People take cuttings from the bottom branches as these would be "budlets" if left, but make great plants when cloned...imo;))

Hey thanks man, taking lower cuts off of my mother plant i got started from seed. didn't bud out very well but i listened to a "friend" that said it was a male. got her 24/7 now.she looks a little hacked, but i feel it's going to do well. gonna figure out how to post pics! :hump:

if u cant trust postin a few pics on RIU then my advice....dont ask 4 help cuz u can be very detailed in ur description and still no-one may know what ur talkin about....post a ;pic and there like ohh yea i got ya bro relax dont worry.......not tryin 2 be a dick jus sayin its 10x easier 2 diagnose a problem if u can see the problem

Agreed! Good creativity and initiative!
I'm gonna try your aspirin thing, since I have been wanting to chop a branch off my Indica to try it, but didn't want to go make a trip to get cloning stuff for just that.

I never asked for help. And I trust RUI. I dont trust home land security. While Medicine of this nature may be legal is some states it is not on a federal level. Lincon established the rights of the Federal goverment over the States rights in 1865. To my best knowlage it has not been overturned. ( Not to be dick) Just stating a fact.

It's been 22 days since my accidental launch into cloning~the two smaller ones look great,yellowed come lower bigger leaves, nice and green, just put them into soil. The "I don't know if this will work" broken- off- top- of newer clone seemed to be doing well until today. its beginning to yellow on the smaller growth as well, but standing and perky. take a look..mail.google.com.jpg

just added some Excelerite and watered. familiar with this stuff? widespectrum of mineral deposites. i will mist a couple times of day and hag in there! Thanks!
