Greetings Folks. Just thought it was time to stir the pot a bit on the GSC clones. Here is a pic of two GSC pheno's grown out a bit in veg, both from HHCOAK. The one on the left is the DHN Platinum and the one on the right is the MO "Thin Mint". I purchased them both just after DHN announced they were releasing their GSC at HHCOAK It was a few days after Dan purchased his from there. To make sure there was no mixup, I had the clonetender at HHCOAK bring the whole tray down so I could pick. The DHN cuts were almost gone, but the MO cuts were in good supply at that time.
After leaving HHCOAK with the goodies, I called MO on the phone to verify the cut I got was indeed the thin mint since the clone tender did not know. I emailed a pic to him and he confirmed via email that the pic I submitted to him was indeed his Thin Mint. At that time he told me that the Platinum cut grows knarley looking, which was indeed what I got from DHN. Upon cloning both the Platinum and Thin Mint for my next grow, indeed the Thin Mint cloned easily, and the Platinum took twice as long, as previously stated in this forum.
I have both receipts from HHCOAK for the clones and I have no doubt they were legitemately provided by both DHN and MO to HHCOAK. I am not stating they are real GSC cuts, but I am adament in stating that they came from HHCOAK at the time that DHN posted they would be taking their Platinum cut there and that it would be the only tray they would provide for a while, which obviously was not correct since I have seen the DHN Platinum advertised via Twitter as being available several times since then, and at a considerably discounted price. In fact, to add to the foray, HHCOAK has DHN Platinums listed right now, which can add to the debate and banter that DHN was dropping the cut.
I do have to praise MO for being available by phone and email, and actually responding to peoples inquiry. They are the real deal and doing better than most in this business. It takes tons of time to do what they are doing, and it is a shame to see people bashing them for trying to break even or even make a dollar in this business.
Other than that, have a good one folks. I usually dont get involved in the banter, bickering, and hate that goes on with these forums, but I though it could possibly be advantageous to others to see both of the purported GSC's that I have and how they look when grown out a bit. BTW, they both have been growing like they are on steroids, and I am having a chore keeping them down in size, contrary to what I have been seeing people state that they are "slow growers".
Later folks and enjoy.
