Are my seedling leaves supposed to be lighter/almost yellowish apposed to the true leaves colors.

Using 1/4 nutes in 12 gallon res GH grow mico bloom with GH rapid rooter
room says around 75 degrees with humidity at 40-45%
Res is at 69 degress, roots at around 65-67 degrees.
Ebb n flo. I soaked RW in 5.5 ph, res ph is at 6.3
RW is at around 70 degrees.
 
You're feeding it too much and looks like you're overwatering. Don't give nutes till the cotlydons start to die.
You should read up before you start seeds.
 
I have been reading up plenty and it seems 50/50 for people on seedlings and nutes, thus the reason for just 1/4th strength. Hard to know when everyone on here (and elsewhere) thinks their way is the best, so trial and error, just like to check in to get constant suggestions. Will hand water for now I suppose for 1 to 2 more weeks at most now and see how it does then. I just don't understand, soil has plenty of food/nutes for the seedlings what's wrong with giving them small doeses in the beginning? Hard to fig out when everyone acts like they're an expert.

But on another note, appreciate all the feedback gents! Please keep it coming,

They mean when the plant is 2-3 weeks old. The cotyledons have all the nutes for the plant already.

They're sensitive at this age.

Alright, I'll just take your word on it thanks dime, but back to my question with soil and all the extra nutes that are in there. Whats the diff if I'm not using my nutes so concentrated? One person says what is pictured is completely normal another saying its nute burn.. See where I'm getting at? can anyone possibly enlighten me?

He must be growing from clones only because that isn't normal. That's a misleading comment.
The dark marks on the second set of leaves that are coming through is exactly what i got when my seedling was
sitting in soil that took too long to dry out after pouring too much water. I transplanted into some dry soil
(very delicate job indeed) and it was back on track. I didn't get the extreme droop that you've got though.
Only on my last grow when i transplanted the seedlings roughly into proper seedling soil.

Your problems are either nute toxcity and/or over watering. I'm gonna say overwatering
is the biggest problem.

Notice the leaves are quite puffy looking and the cots are yellower than normal. They should
be flatter like this seedling i started in september:

Ahhh I see, alright very informative. Do you think I should just not water em for 2 days? or try and transplant? Or both?
 
you sir are in rock wool don't water for a week let the cube dry out some water only when that 6 x 6 cube feels light trust me I grow in rock wool.

I agree with Dime, looks like overwatering and nute burn. I did the same thing about a month and a half ago being a first time seed grower.....I also put my light to close to the little guys. Planted 9, sprouted 8.....1 survived.:cuss:

If you are growing in soil or coco and want to germ seeds, I had 11 out of 13 germ using Hydorfarm's Jump Start. http://www.hydrofarm.com/our-brands/jump-start.php
The little pellet greenhouses work great. Just add water and put it on a heating pad if you have one. Good luck!
 
Go and buy the smaller rw cubes like 3 x 3 or 4 x 4. Place the sprouted plant like you have now in one of those cubes after soaking them of course. I use clones or K-L-N to soak at 5.5 ph and I don't water until the cube feels lite 4-7 days it depends on how hot it is in the room. I wait until I see roots come through the bottom and then I place the smaller cube on top of the 6" cube and then start feeding them 1/4 strength for one week and then increase to 1/2 for 2 more weeks before giving full strength nutes

Thankfully I got six laying around, thanks again for your help Styles.
 
Styles since I'm transplanting into a new rockwool, due to over watering how much should i wring it out?
