I agree with 40acres.. my first opinion when reading this thread was it looked really bad, not just for you two but for this forum... I dont think people want to come here, looking for answers when they are obviously clueless and get nothing but deconstructive criticism.
The overall objective im sure for this forum is to build a strong community of novice and expert growers who can help some newer and younger growers build experience and the only way to learn is to do it and make mistakes.... Telling sombody they should be ashamed of their plant is just plain rude, even if they did it all wrong, they still put alot of effort into making it this far.

(for next time)
You should def. read the grow faq, it will answer some questions and also give you good info to let simmer in the brain. one thing it states is to keep your CFLs 1 inch away, this will help to keep it from stretching and looking like a charlie brown tree. second, put a fan on it from day one to help build strength for flowering... dont stress too much about it, its a strong plant they can withstand more than you actually think. here is an example of of one of my stalks...

I personally, if you were going to stick with cfl's, is to get the biggest you can.Als as many. If you can come up with the price of a pack of cigarettesa week, then you can afford a bulb a week to keep growing until you get what you need.
And if you need help, please post, that is why this site is here.

heres soemthing else, you shoul dbe counting the wattage of those bulbs you have. it is an easier way to gauge how much you have. I have grown all the way through with cfl's and it does work, just a little slower.
The 6500's are great, and can be used all the way through. as well as the 2700's, the actual colored ones arent that great. Too much light reflected from paint or dye. As many as you can just like before.

EXACTLY THANK YOU !!!!! But one problem is i cant keep my plants one inch away from my cfl's due to my setup and how my room is and other thing is my plants is extremly bushy and it would be touching the walls making the leavs stress out and i only have 2 lights atm because my other one blew out but for my next grow imma have a whole new setup for my grow 5 or 6 lights on my plants all 2700 lumen output 6500 kelvin. Yeah when ever i need to know some stuff bout growin i go to grow faq lots of info there

yeah thnx for lettin me know about the paint on those bulbs, they are also more expensive and i woulda juss bees wastin my money. Coo i didnt know that the 6500k's can be used all the way through since there light is blue and my 2700 lumen bulbs are only 42 watts each IT'S THE NEW FUKKIN GENERATION OF ELETRONICS!!!!! so 42x5=210 or 42x6=252 i might juss have to go with the 5 light bulbs becase i know that sercut can hadle 210 not sure bout 252

IF IT AINT GREEN THAN IT AINT ME BROTHA
thats good. I am a igarette smoker and wished i wasnt. What I am saying is that if you can save any change, youcan afford to buy a new bulb or two every once in a while. I started off with cfl's because of the price, and just kept getting more bulbs as I could afford it and as I needed. I DID end up spending more for cfl's then i would have for the 1000mh I bought a little while later.
I actually have a bunch of cfl's left, including a 200w full spectrum from vitalume that i dont use anymore. But back to the point.
I am sorry to say, you most likely will need more light. Walmart and menards usually have pretty good deals on the 23w(?) bulbs. Menards has the 65w and the 42w(?) as well. I think the cfls are loss leader items, which mean they take a lsoo on them, so people will come to the store for them. Also menards had the outdoor light extension cords w/socket for a few(3) dollars. You can rig them to work nice. Thye have a screw on swivel that is allright.
Sorry this is so wordy, but I remember vaguely what it is like to grow with cfl's and would like to help.

That plant is not going to get to no damn 8ft tall. What you must do is start pinching the stems. Gently squeeze the stem until you hear it or feel it crunch. this will break the water vesels forcing the plant to grow out sideways until the vesels repair themselves. Do that and add a few cfls around the plant will get you a damn nice yield. Considering your using cfls. Im out!

I think i understand what your saying, do u mean at the very top squeeze the stem so that the water supply is broken so that my branches will grow taller and farther out??? and if thats what u mean i cant do that because my plants is already to busy as it is the leafs sometimes hit the walls and the way that my room is i need to get them as close to the wall as i can because thats where the light is
