I had one of those cheap plastic bladed 6" supposedly 240cfm fan, and when I put the cabinet fan on the other end, the 6" fan damn near stopped spinning, The distance between the end of the blades and the shroud are what makes a fan gain suction power. Look at the design of those cheap fans and llok at the gap and then look at the orion type fans as there is almost no space between the blades end and the shroud = capable of more suction. So before ya go off on me again m8, do some homework, I have ocd and will take this to the point where you will understand, even if I have to use construction paper and crayons.ASMALLVOICE. A decent fan woud pull that back through the ducting, chop it into little bits and throw it out on the compost pile, followed by a couple of derogatory spits.
If it bothered wasting it's time spitting.
The little Orion Fan I am using is rated at 110cfm, but a pc fan, nowhere near that, not enough rpms, they spin drastically slower than a 120v fani get u grorite, but 70cfm for intake into a sealead room is good intake. Using oscilating fans to get fresh air in a room means open tent/cabinet, which in turn stinks a house out during flowering. And pc fans are no where near 70cfm surely ?

I'm an ex-aircraft engineer (British Airways) and spent 3 years in college then 4 years building RB211 Turbofan engines. The theory is the same. We used to check the blade clearances with feeler guages.
P.s. My 6" pulls 425 cfm.
