HELP.... I think I've got a man in my garden!

Hi all,

New here, we'll first post anyway, I've been trolling around this site for a few months now and it's been invaluable in helping with my 1st grow. I had a problem where my rhino filter fell on 1 of my Big Bang 2 plants from feminized seeds, she had 5 of her branches fold over, I tied her up to support them back in the original position, she looked a bit sick (drying out etc) for a week or so but then started to grow again but looks different to the others, the buds now look nobblier than her sisters and all the pistols have disappeared, I cut a bud off as it looked dry and left it to dry out for a few days and it tasted very chemically and not like bud at all, is this due to not flushing or is she hermied or dying? She's nearly 8 weeks in flower, this strains meant to be done in a week or so!


Any help is really REALLY appreciated

were u able to check the trichromes? as far as the chemical taste, it could be because it is still green. i've never known flushing to change tastes radically. didn't have neem oil on it? that leaves a really bad taste. GL

yeh have checked the tricks they are still clear for the most part, never used neem oil, just feeding with coco a & b up till a few days ago, also using ionic bloom for coco and hit them with pk 13/14 a couple of weeks ago, shit I really hope this sis not a hermie?

if it's a hermie, it would be a big bud with little banana looking things coming from it. If you think it is hermaphroditing, chop that shit early. If there are no banana's and it has buds, it is a female. The reason you probably are tasting chemicals is cause of nitrogen toxicity, i recommend getting a big flush and no nutrients to help it yellow up. if you're scared of not giving it potassium give it a fert with no nitrogen in the least. do all this now and then harvest in a week . I've heard though that too much/too little N can stunt flowering. Also it may be the strain , if it seems more like a sativa you're probably going to need to harvest DEF. next week.

edit: does the plant look out of the norm or am I being paranoid?

had a look for bananas on and between the buds but could see anything in there, so should I chop even though the trichs are still clear, or hang on and harvest with her sister? Don't want to lose the plant first off but also don't want rank smoke either, smells like garden variety grass at the moment, is this normal?

it looks beautiful to me well done. harvest when trichs say shes ready dont rush it. its easy to get fooled into choping early but if you wait until shes actually ripe you will be so much happier

I'm gonna die from the stress before they're ready lol, I must've spent hundreds of hours staring at them over the last 4 months! Getting toooo much for me

LOL, does this mean that you will be unwilling to smoke the buds from the jars... or just keep them on the shelf to admire ... just kidding, know what you mean it is really nice to see that which you have seen on the internet and finally have it in front of you
