Just wanted to add before anyone asks... The white stuff on the bucket tops is just pieces of Orca film from my old grow room that i had laying around. I like to cover the bucket tops with if for the first week of veg to make the bucket tops extra light proof until the canopy fills in and shades the bucket tops. Anyone who grows hydro knows that even the smallest light leaks lead to algae and slim. Also, there are a few clones missing from the cloner pics on the previous page because i gave a few away.
[h=1]This thread Is going to be nice , its good your willing to share your knowledge , just a few questions .[/h] 1 – You said you use tap water in your cloner , do you adjust the Ph of the cloner water ?
2 – What Ph do you use in the grow room ?
3 – What is the size of your air pump ?

2 – What Ph do you use in the grow room ?
3 – What is the size of your air pump ?
Thanks!

1- I do not adjust the ph in the cloner. When there are no roots to take up nutes and no nutes in the water i see no need to adjust the ph level.
2- In my grow i just keep my ph level between 5.5 and 6.5. There is no such thing as one specific perfect ph level since different nutrients are absorbed best at different ph levels, i believe a little ph fluctuation is a good thing. When i do need to adjust the ph level i aim for 6.0.
3- My air pump is a 20 watt 45 liters per minute.

10/29 There is a new girl in the room! After searching for a looooong time i finally obtained a couple clones of Cannatonic with the high CBD pheno. I received two clones, one went into soil to be a future mother plant and one went directly into DWC hydro with the rest of my girls.

In other news i added my tomato cages to my bucket tops, these come in really handy late in flowering when the plants just can't support the weight of their massive buds. Since the plants are still small i have them all moved to one side of the room and am only running one 1000w light at the moment. The growth was slow at first but they are really starting to hit their stride now, one more week until they'll be big enough to flower.

11/4 This is why i love hydro! The plant growth has been booming, only two weeks of veg and the plants are already big enough for flowering. I now have the buckets spread out into the position they'll stay in, both 1000w lights running and switched over to HPS bulbs on a 12/12 photoperiod. I haven't really lowered the cfl's into position yet because the plants are going to be growing and stretching really fast over the next couple weeks and i don't want to have any burnt leaves from the plants growing into the bulbs.

Since the Cannatonic plant really only got one week of veg and it started out as a weak clone with small roots when i got it, i decided to run a really long air line and move it over to veg with my mother plants for another week. For the rest of my plants, this is day 1 of flowering.

The first couple pics are just group shots and the last pic is the two AK-47 buckets.

11/11 Currently one week into flowering and they're growing like crazy! Along with they crazy growth they have a crazy thirst, between the 8 plants the garden is currently consuming 30 gallons of water a week! They are showing a couple pistils but nothing special yet, my next updates will show some baby buds forming. I am happy that both strains are growing pretty similar so far, the Cheesequake has slight height advantage but the AK-47 is a little wider/bushier. The Cheesequake is also much darker green compared to the AK-47 which is a very bright green.

I also moved my Cannatonic plant back into the room. She is now one week behind the rest of the girls so this was day 1 of flower for her. The Cannatonic is very sativa looking with skinny 9 blade leaves, very distinct compared to the rest of the garden. She looked a little beat up from moving her around again but she perked right up the next day.

11/18 My first up to date update! Today is day 14 of flowering for the AK-47's and Cheesequakes, and day 7 of flower for the Cannatonic. The AK and CQ should be just about done with their stretch at this point, my tallest Cheesequake is 39" tall from the top of the bucket and my tallest AK-47 is 37" tall from the top of the bucket. The AK-47's are literally as wide as they are tall, I'm not trying to brag but i think its pretty amazing to have plants this tall with only 2 weeks of veg. The Cheesequakes are still very dark in color with a tiny bit of tip burn on their leaves so i backed off slightly on the nutes with today's feeding. The AK-47's on the other hand are the complete opposite, kind of pale in color and even a couple deficiency spots so i increased their nutes on today's feeding. Other than that they all are continuing to thrive and now are starting to push out pistils everywhere!

The Cannatonic is a week behind the rest of the garden so i figure its still got a little more stretch left in it. No pistils showing up yet besides the preflowers but i expect to start seeing them any day now. Other than that its looking pretty good, and branching out nicely but not growing as fast as the AK or CQ.

Looking forward to your next update Huel , sure would like to see a snapshot of the root system , really interested in following the success of the Cannatonic , are you going to post updates all the way through the harvest and the yield results ?

I ment to do a mid week update but I've been busy with family in town for the holiday. I will post an update tomorrow with new pics. I will continue to post updates at least once a week for the entire grow.

11/25 Time for another update! Today is day 21 of flowering for the AK-47 and Cheesequake plants. Pistils and trichomes are forming everywhere, i can already tell this is going to be a heavy harvest. In the last week i have drastically increased the amount of nutes i am feeding the AK-47 plants, as i have grown this strain for years i know she is a heavy feeder but this grow is the first time in my new room with upgraded lights and shes hungrier than ever. On the flip side of that i have reduced the amount of nutes i am feeding the Cheesequake due to their very dark color, some tip burn and some leaf cupping. I am taking precise notes of these feeding on my calendar for the next round, you can learn a lot from taking notes, live and learn!

Its day 14 of flower for my Cannatonic plant and she is showing her sativa traits more than even. She has really stretched like crazy over the last week and is only a couple inches shorter than my AK-47's now. Although she did branch out rather well she still has a very sativa structure with one main top cola and very long spacing between the nodes. Also in true sativa fashion she took 12-13 days to even start pushing pistils out and actually show that shes flowering, yesterday was really the first day i could actually see the signs. If this wasn't such a special plant being a 10:1 CBD to THC ratio i'd probably scrap it....

Thanks guys! I'm going to try to put up some new pics tomorrow or Thursday, the amount of weight they've packed on in just the last two days since Sunday's weekly feeding is amazing. I really need to figure something out to get better pics instead of using my phones camera, for every one pic I post they are probably 10 more that I took that didn't focus, were too dark or over exposed.
