What seed dealer has the best Bubblegum seeds / genetics / whatever?

Didn't Serious Seeds create this one? I'd imagine they are a good source.
The strain was reportedly originally bred in Indiana in the late 80s or early 90s.

Serious didn't create the line, though they were the first ones to put it out for commercial sale.

The owner has a video where he says that in the early 90s the other breeders were so jealous that he had this strain (which he wouldn't share), that one literally broke into his growing facility and stole it from him!

This is probably the best commercially available representation of the line, though it may not be the one that has the best flavor.

I've grown thai sativa that had a strong scent nearly identical to juicy-fruit gum, but not only do I have no idea where you could get ceeds for this, I couldn't recommend it anyway.

The plant had all the negative issues associated with pure sativas: Super stretchy, flowering time of forever and a day, hermie-prone, and super low yield.

Yeah serious seeds ive had that bgum and it had a very weak taste of bubblegum, but could have been the phenotype
ya phenos in some seeds can be a hard thing to find and totally overlooked by most growers. I know i grew Original Sour D
this yr from cc and it was duds but i have 3 beans left. I don't even want to pop them lol I wouldn't dare order more and i would order from a different company if i did but it can be as simple as wrong pheno or a mistake by myself. If i was beanzz i would look into finding old guys with old clones lol or order my beans from serious and pop until i find it.

Doggies nuts bubblegum #1 looks pretty tasty but i haven't had it...
Sure, if you believe the ad copy, ALL strains are tasty, fast-flowering, potent, etc. Don't do it.

Personally, I'd never buy anything from Doggie's nuts.

In my opinion, they're asking WAY too much money for genetics that you can almost certainly get elsewhere for only a fraction of the price.

See here for a few of my thoughts on this company, why they ask so much for their ceeds, and why I think you're better served spending your money elsewhere:

beanzz Maybe i missed it but what kind of soil? I see foxfarm used for nutes but anything like molasses? DO you put them under 30x loupe when harvesting and are you wet/dry trim methods>

Of course the picture is great.

I'm not making specific accusations in this case, but I'm pretty sure there are breeders who use pictures in their ad copy of plants that aren't actually plants grown from the ceeds in question.

And even if they are honest here, nice picture doesn't mean nice plant.

Ever see the ad copy for a McDonald's hamburger? Ever see an actual hamburger that looks like the one in the picture?

for real you can't go by the pics on their ads or even their descriptions. your best bet is googleing the strain to find personal grows.

but if I were to be looking for a nice bubble gum pheno I'd buy atleast 5 packs of serious seeds bubble gum and select the best pheno. you can find an great cut in any good strain but your best chance is with 50+ seeds. I actually just ordered a autumn cleaning pack of shark shock which is 1 gram of seeds (50-60) from the mns auction I know I'm gonna find somthing special with that selection.

I bet that Thai was some bad ass smoke though.

Actually, I think I've heard this story. Somehow Simon ended up getting hooked up with this strain. Anyway, I know they have some good gear, so it seemed reasonable to suggest them.

It might have been. . .if it didn't go hermie, and if I had the patience to wait it out past 15 weeks.

The real issue was just that this was one of the earliest plants I grew, long before there was any "rollitup.com", and neither I, nor the setup I had at the time were up to the task of growing a pure sativa.

Knowing what I know now, I'm sure I could do much much better with something like that, but also knowing what I know now, I'd be disinclined to try!

Na, just Fox Farm everything + superthrive.

I will check tris before harvest with a loop.

As for wet/dry trim methods, not really sure what you mean? When I trim/harvest I just set the plant on the counter and cut all the leaves and sugar leaves, then snip it at the base and hang it upside down for a week or so then throw it into open jars until it's dry enough that I can leave the jars sealed.

This is only my second grow.

That sounds just like the DP Blueberry I grew out. The juicy fruit, Thai, hermie prone etc... Great smoke,
some times a pain to grow.

Maybe I will order bubblegum seeds from 4 or 5 different breeders and pop all of them, looking for "the one".

Thing is, not sure how I'd know whcih one is that special one without budding it out, curing, then smoking.

So I'd have to keep all the plants alive in 23hr+ flours after harvesting and keeping them all labeled and organized.

Hmmm
