Hi please help me out with advice, I have 2 chemdogs growing in dwc with airstone and dripping on top, this is my second grow, and so far i did everything right and plants exploded, both are in scrog, and what concerns me that i have been bending even breaking but they still rejuvenate and hit the hoods, so very close to lights, i mean there is no more space in a tent, temp and humidity is 22 - 23 celsius, humidity around 40 to 50, and it is day 37 since i switched to 12 12, i did put my palm under the hood, held it there for a while and it is not so bad, prob better than mexico @D but still hotter than suggested for top colas

I ran out of room during my last grow, and I had to supercrop the taller branches during flower. It wasn't pretty looking but it worked. Anyways your shit is looking great.

there is also a product out there that supposedly stops stretching dead in its tracks. not sure what the name is but maybe someone passing through knows what im talking about.

They should be done stretching.. tie the tops down or like you said.. raise the light... Put a few fans blowing on lights to help with heat...

I would have to agree. My plants are usually finished with the majority of the stretching by the end of the 3rd week if not the end of the 4th for sure. They might grow a couple more inches over the rest of the grow but that isn't much in the scheme of things. That is usually strain dependant too.

I don't think I would want to give my plant something that would stop it from growing. Just saying!

LOL ... well guys thank all of you for your input, i understood what to do, today i bent them again with sort of break in half, you know what i mean, i think what supercropping is, seems like they rejuvenate at very fast rate so i will be fine

THANKS ALOT

It's a little late for super cropping, you will see better results if you just tie down the tall ones to even out the canopy a little lower than it is right now. A batch of super cropping now will slow down bud growth and probably decrease your final yield.

just keep bending. try tying them down. eventually, though, they'll get so heavy they'll fall over and you'll have to tie them UP. i wouldn't touch that stretch inhibitor. bushmaster, i think it's called. i don't think it's a natural hormone. don't take my word for it, though.

There is an awful lot of growth that will be popcorn buds, with little value. I would be cutting off the bottom 1/3 of every one of those branches, and tie them down after that. Your colas will get much bigger, and have less junk to try to manicure. Having your tops that close to the lights will cause them to stress, and I've personally had them go hermie from that in the flowering stages.

trimmed, clean plants are happy plants. Newer growers are often nervous to do it, but they all learn.

You got it man. That's exactly what I was talking about.

Also a small desk fan works good when aimed at just under the light so that it keeps the tops of the plants moving slightly and keeps the hot air under the hood moving. This has helped save my ass a couple of times, also it works good for bud rot if you see it starting early.
