What should my humidity level be at?

I've got a humidifier in my grow room and I can barely keep humidity above 30%. What kind of problems will I run into if I can't hike up this humidity level?

Sweet ass man...I was really beginning to stress out. I actually just went out and bought a cool mist humidifier to put in my tent b/c I was so damn worried. Well, good thing I kept the receipt, b/c that bitch is going back to the store tomorrow :)

Ya bro I wouldn't worry to much about 30% RH during veg. I mean they like a little higher humidity like around say 40-60 but 30-35 isn't bad at all and look at the plus side when you start to flower you will love the lower RH lol.

Oh and that cool mist humidifier would of severely disappointed you for trying to raise humidity. If your trying to raise humidity a lot a warm mist is the way to go. But I wouldn't worry about 30% humidity at all. I've vegged at 28% and saw no noticeable difference.

My friend, you sir, are on point. My cool mist humidifier did absolutely fucking nothing....It didn't raise the RH level 1 damn i-ota, so I took it back last night thoroughly pissed off and just ran some vinegar through my old $60 warm mist humidifier and it worked like a charm last night. Cleaned it all out & got the scales off and then it ran all night and kept RH @ about 40% on average.

In a nutshell, cool mist humidifier = ball sack...save your f'ing money.

Cool mist humidifiers pass the water over a wick and expel vapor, that cools down the room temperature. Warm mist humidifiers boil the water which causes a distilled steam to be expelled into the room, that raises humidity. Ball sack, NO; they should both raise humidity, but one is much more efficient, and a little more expensive. You have to use the correct item for the task at hand ;-) regards,
