So again what is the libertarian Rawn Pawl solution to hungry people? What makes you think that? Do you really believe that hungry people are incapable of doing things?

Ron Paul would be disappointed to hear this from someone toting "Paul Bot"In real life, pies that are about to expire are being thrown away. Lets support the free market programs that buy this food at discount and give it to the homeless and discourage overuse of food stamps and all of the side effects it brings.
Teaching a man to fish = Letting him die? What distorted logic do you run on? 103 Octane disillusionment? In other words they don't want to admit that Holy Ron the Paul (may his blessed vaginal speculum shine its holy light on your nether regions) says let 'em die. I bet they all worship at the altar of Social Darwinism.

Being as we are in a GROW forum.... perhaps we could campaign to teach people to grow their own food. In their own homes. World Hunger Solved.
Instead you want to perpetuate the cycle of hunger by associating money with food. Until food and energy are taken out of the "game" we will always have starving children. The red cross and whatever need starving people for TV adds, so they get money.. go figure.
Grow tents for your apartments, or community gardens. Buy some property and grow there. If you cant afford that, give up your expensive lifestyle in the metropolitan area and move further towards the country. You choose to live where you live. If you give up, maybe less than essential parst of you life, you can afford to eat health food. As for the homeless, if you have 10 people in an area that contribute a 100 dollars monthly you could rent a retail spot and grow food to give out to homeless people, and promote the ease of home gardening. Why don't those who truly want to help homeless people, bring some into their own home and get them on their feet. Or rent one of these retail spots and set up sleep centers for homeless, so they can sleep somewhere warm. Problems solved. Next.People in apartments would be thrilled to grow their own food
and so would the homeless.
Of course winter presents another problem
I so love it when we apply 18th century agrarian solutions to modern day problems

Or if I presumed incorrectly let me know and I'll try a different tangent. New Idea.
Dude what have you been doing with your life? Get going already the clock is ticking , your not getting any younger, the race is on, hows the view from back there, quit smoking weed for a while, how do you expect to help others if you can't help yourself!!Yes I am starving but have the money to buy land
and if I dont
I can pitch a tent out in the countryside and be a squatter and grow my own crops
Of course until harvest I will just live off of the berrys and natural fauana I trap in my shoebox
WTF are you talking about? Ron Paul supports the free market (foodbanks) over the government (food stamps).Ron Paul would be disappointed to hear this from someone toting "Paul Bot"

My point is Food banks are not for profit. (good). the food they give away is produced for profit. (not good).
You want to keep giving food to people for free, while others have to pay. It should all be free, we can produce enough food to make that happen. But like you said, the food is thrown out instead. But the reason its thrown out is to keep the value of the fresh or new product high. Sure people make livings supplying this stuff, but they work to.. buy food, and other stuff I know, but the process repeats. We are all self sufficient, or we all can be self sufficient, we just choose not to be, for whatever reason. I think we rely too much on the community and don't contribute enough because our efforts are so ambiguous.
Specifically foodbanks and foodstamps are the same thing; Treatments for an in-ability to care for ones self, in the current social structure.
With the system of welfare, there will always be those left without.
If it's an airspeed, didn't the swallower choose to spit? cnWhat is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
I agree with NoDrama. So let them starve?
But like I said, it doesn't have to "cost" money.soooo people shouldn't be compensated for producing food then? There is a huge difference morally between food banks and food stamps. Food stamps force others to pay for food for others. Food banks are voluntarily supported by individuals who wish to help the poor. The food isn't thrown out if we support food banks. It is much more efficient to put this food to use through food banks as opposed to just giving people credit cards to buy food at the expense of taxpayers.
There is no such thing as free food, as it must be produced at costs.
During Hurricane sandy, people couldn't get food with their food stamps, the EBT card readers weren't working, they ate well from charitable donations....IRONY Yes Cheesus there is your answer since your so hung up on Ron Paul, its charity. Not shitty government cheese. The fact is that, society would not just melt down without government, if you put a "special" blue suit on you aren't granted some sort of divine powers, your just a guy in a fucking blue suit.soooo people shouldn't be compensated for producing food then? If dingos are yellow then why are gram crackers so yummy? You are the one Hung up on Ron Paul. You cant get off his dick. If free market solutions work so well Why did so many people starve before food stamps?
A lot of recipients of food stamps, food pantries and free meals are the elderlyI agree with NoDrama. And they won't starve, atleast not those who try.Teach them so fish, and those who refuse to try can literally starve. Fuck them if they dont have enough desire to live that they will fight for it. No one should be hungry in this country, and it shouldn't cost money to fix it. Food doesn't come from putting money into something, it comes from putting labor into something.
Labor doesn't always mean "back breaking"A lot of recipients of food stamps, food pantries and free meals are the elderly
