I run a dehumidifer in the room set at 45%. It kicks on when needed and goes off when not needed.

cut down on humidity? where do you live?if anything, i should artificially increase it a bit during veg. it gets high after watering and drops pretty quickly. typical is 40 to 45% in the grow room.

Thats what I'm saying I never run a dehumidifier in my grow room. Shit its always 30%-40% no matter what

Flower I like to sit between 40-50, keep it at 40 during the last couple of weeks. In Veg I will roll up to as high as 65 RH. (CO2 enriched)

Don't you find that you get into Powdery mildew when running rh that high? I have fought PM in the past and it's a bitch and a half. We just always keep Rh down around 45% to prevent it.

I never have. The only time I get powdery Mildew is when its brought from clones or I kept my medium too wet.

An enriched veg room can handle 65% with no PM problems.

I have never used co2 in veg. Is it worth it in your opinion ? I use it in flower all the time.

It's pretty common at high humidity so that's interesting. Maybe I need more PM resistant strains.

I hear you on the high humidity thing dont get me wrong its just here in AZ even in my sealed room during veg my RH% was never went higher than 55%. just never gets that high.

Im using an evap cooler this run. It helps cool temps and brings up my RH in my flower room. The reason i ask is because i want to bring up RH and cool down my veg room, so i was going to move the evap cooler from the flower to the veg room. Just did it and turned off the lights im not sure it will work(temps). I put a fan in its place in the flower room, so we will see if thats enough or i just have to get another evap cooler soon.

As an organic gardener who is always looking to improve in "natural" ways. I switched my setup (veg & flower) from vented to sealed just for the experience.
Let me say in both instances I have found there to be serious pluses and I will not be switching back to vented.
IMO, the true benefits from CO2 only occur in a completely sealed room. If your lights are vented you will have to sync the CO2 regulator to cycle on and off in conjunction with the exhaust fans. Therefore in a veg tent/room w/ fluros it is very easy to run sealed obviously because the heat is normally minimal.
The growth rates, clone rooting, plants lushness and color are top notch.
Odor control is much easier to deal with in both flower and veg, yes I said veg.
Try it out for a month if its an easy switch.

What temps are you talking? Sealed will let you run higher temps overall.
What size veg room are you talking about also? Ultrasonic humidifier is a great tool but room size is a factor.

True that I love it, and you can still run air cooled lights you just have to pull air from another room. I pull air from the room next to my grow room, goes through the duct , through the hoods , and into the attic. With co2 you can grow with temps up to high 80's low 90's.

I still like running high 70's low 80's but the CO2 gives you room to play with temps in case of an unforeseen circumstance.

Same here I dont like to push it past 85 degrees. Thats the highest my room gets in the summer.

Well my veg room is down a couple a degrees and the RH is up to 60%.. Settles it i need another evap cooler these things are the shit( an awesome tool to have). Craigslist here i come...
