The Word has gotten out about my grow- how do I proceed?

So the grow I have going now was originally to be known about by only three people- myself, my roommate, and one of our other close friends. I am fully aware that the cardinal rule is to never tell a soul about your grow, and I fucked up and now must deal with the consequences. I have found out that several other people know about my grow, because they have asked me how it's going and when I'll have weed and such. It isn't cool at all. As far as I know, the only people that are now aware aren't people I would consider threatening, but they aren't people I would ever tell about my grow. So basically, I want to keep growing my pot but I want to be extremely fucking cautious now. There's no way I can "un-tell" people, so I might just start a rumor between them that I cut the grow short or something. I'm just very anxious this could lead to problems down the road, and I'm hoping for advice from other people who have made this mistake.

Say you had a hardware failure of some sort that killed the plants. Growing to be resumed at a later date!

If you have admitted it just say you tried to grow a few plants outdoors, didn't realize it was the wrong season, and they all died. Act like you have no clue where they got the indoor idea(if they know that too). If you denied it just say its a stupid rumor, pack up for a day, give a tour to the people showing you don't have one, then set back up that night. I'm sure you can find a way out of this. If all else fails say your lights went out and you couldnt afford new ones so you gave the plants away and you didnt realize how much it would cost... Make up a stupid, simple excuse that makes you seem like you don't know how to grow and fucked it up or you dont grow and people will think its beginners "luck"

Tell your friends that you believe spread it around, that your grow had to be trashed due to someone bringing in spider mites on their clothing and the spider mites destroyed your crop. Either that or start working on locking up your grow room with a couple padlocks

Hehe, thanks for the advice everyone. It is an indoor grow, and even when people are over at my place they don't know it's there because it's locked away in my closet. So these people have heard but never seen. Oh, and I didn't exactly confirm or deny it in the few situations I've been in where they've asked, I've just kind of nodded and not said anything and then changed the subject... Oh well. I'll probably just say bugs killed them or something. Hopefully this doesn't happen again though, my friend has a big mouth and I won't be letting him in on any more secrets like this.

If non medical state this just became not worth the risk. Better safe than sorry my friend. If medical go get your card so at least it is legally kosher to grow.
Also, make sure to think about your safety and the lengths someone might got to once they find out about your op.

Assuming you are in AZ, Learn the laws and get your card mate.

I am in AZ and want a card, too broke to get one now though. But it looks like I really need one now, unfortunately.

Trust me man, It is definitely worth it. If for nothing else the peace of mind of knowing you are legal helps alot.
Enjoy the snow mate, Last time i was that way i nearly froze my stones off!:peace:

Pass a rumor to the person you told. Plants died, House burnt down, make an excuse why they are gone.
I'm sure that person will get the word out again.

Wouldn't matter if you went to get your card now. They are not issuing Cultivation Authorizations anymore from what I understand.

delarewarefakes.com. Put some thought into where you'd like to start your new life, what your backstory will be, ect. Destroy anything you can't pawn. Park your car on a back road and torch it, then walk to town, borrow a phone and get a taxi to take you to a bus station. Try and get at least $50,000 before you disappear; you can get cash off credit cards by sending it from one paypal account to another, then to a bank account. If you live somewhere they'll do title loans against vehicles, and your vehicle isn't financed, you can do that too. Hardest part is going to be getting land for your go-op with fake info. If you can't steal real info, get something owner-financed on land contract - you won't have to worry about taking the deed till you pay off the loan years from now. Have an attorney make sure the land contract is sound and denies the owner access.

...............Ok now back to reality,just like everyone else says,tell them the plants got damaged,and died,and after that keep your fuckin mouth shut next time.

Now that is incredibly disappointing...I remember hearing that they would still issue medical cards that allow cultivation if you don't live within 25 miles of a dispensary. I do not, so hopefully I can still obtain one.
