Effects of poor ventilation during flowering...

Hey everyone
So right now i'm on week 6 since flip to 12/12. What i'm being told is I don't count the first week really or at least untill the pre-flowers show right? So technically this would be week 5?

So to the real matter at hand. My box doesn't have thee best ventilation at all. No specific intake/outtake fans. Just a occillating fan laying on the ground blowing air in, a mini heater right in front of that IN the box on a low heat setting since my damn garage is cold as shit, and another small fan on high setting blowing under the Grape Ape(not occilalting).
What im getting at is the box itself is so brisk you might say. Mid 60s during the day and low 40s at night with RH round 50-60%.
My guts telling me the ventilation is reaaaally slowing the bud development down...anyone experience this before? Help a first timer out:weed:

I would say it's a bit cold in your garage. If you're only in the mid 60's with the lights on and mid 40's lights off, I believe growth rate will slow somewhat from the cold. If you could somehow raise the temps and lower the humidity a bit you'll probably see and improvement in growth rate.

CO2 exchange helps...the fan is doing that. I have a 2" thick foam box built around my tents with a heater inside. Fans recirculate air at night to keep temp up.

I feel for ya with the cold. I grow in a basement and my temps drop pretty low at night. You being in the 40's at night is bad. If you can't bring your nite temps up try using a plant heat mat for your girls. If you keep the roots warm you should see a great improvement. It's alot cheaper than heating a room. Good Luck!

sorry, what i meant is 60 degrees outside during the day, which is when my lights are off. I use the lights at night to keep the box warm when the days at its coldest. The box temps when lights are on get anywhere from 70-85.

Within reason yes. If you don't have much cash get a silver insulated emergency blanket. About 20 bucks and should be big enough for 3-4 plants.

well thats very resourceful lol. Put the heating pad in the middle of the grow room floor then put the emergency blanket over to insulate heat up?

I had a plant that dropped like it was over watered because the wet soil got cold at nights, I knew it wasn't over watered so I sat back and thought about it for while and figured it out, first time I had a problem with cold temps but I can't say the same for hot temps.
