very early pollination, what to expect?

I had a spacebomb male next to a spacebomb female, the male leached out some pollen before I removed it and even though the female was less than 2 weeks into flowering, the pollination occured ... all over the plant. It took the female a long time to start budding I guess she was working on some seeds...

What would most people do here? let the plant go until seeds are ready then harvest everything, probably throwing the flowers in hash pile ... or harvest the seeds and let the buds finish?

it took so long for the flower to develop I am wondering if it's going to be worth my time, ... she is getting frosty though. And the buds are going to develop without seeds and I will only have the seeds I see at the moment?

The bud will be just as good. Your gonna have yourself some nice seeds.

sometimes early pollen isnt that viable but you say it was all over the plant. i would have sprayed the plant down with water to get rid of any pollen from the plant. let it flower out for the seeds, jar it and cure like any other. most likely i would remove the seeds at a later date and just give the bud away.

as long as you grow the plant to maturity it should be potent. i just dont want to smoke it and i dont have to.

-Not a big fan of the apocalypse, like some, but seeds are good. good seeds ONLY!

No they were never going to develop properly anyway under led lighting. Now with the energy needed for seed set i would say thats it and they are in lockdown.

Bet I know where he wants you to give them away. LOL

Save the seeds!! 2 reasons. One, it was a straight male that did the pollinating and same strain to boot. Second, it looks like the pre flowers that got pollinated and this is also a good. Seeds from pre flowers seem to be more robust than seeds from buds. Just an observation on my part.

This is how I produce seeds for myself, I pollinate pre flowers on rooted clones and harvest when the seeds are ripe. I give them five weeks. Still get a decent buzz from what buds there are. Not like mature buds, but enough that they don't get tossed.

I sorta agree with *BUDS about the LED lights, but my seeds have developed normally under T12's, T-5 HO, sunlight and HID's. Also, 18/6 or 12/12 didn't seem to matter. Not for seed development anyway.

What I was thinking was to let the buds mature after I harvest the seeds ...


FYI BUDS, I have some seeds right now that all germinated in less than 24 hours and they were grown under LEDs (Agent Orange male X Chemo (jordan of the island) ) Unfortunately the Chemo wasnt the nicest but the seeds are really strong I am looking forward to see what will come out of this ,... 90days and I will be toking on that shit.


Also my best plant was grown under LEDs 5.5 oz 12/12 from seeds, DANK ... as well as the best pot I have ever smoked was grown under LEDs by myself. Your comment was useless keep it to yoself next time.
