yeah FF packs enough for survival for sure, sometimes its too hot for seedling even in my compost, nothin perlite wont fix. remember the organicide recipe i gave you? i think i did at least, marigold leaves and ive recently started using rosemary in addition to mint leaf. all these plants are easy to grow and clone on your porch, companion growin with em would be even better. that hps wasnt enough for her? aint nothin wrong with some free smoke, thats for sure.
oh and are you thinkin about pullin off a scrog again? thatd be interesting, might help with the lighting situation too.

Yep still have the recipe and I still have a gallon of the mix I made yet am afraid to open it. lol... Think I want to stay away from sprays as they made my last batch taste like chitz... I will be doing a few marigolds and companion plants in the grow closet

More light-less heat... hummm had to do it.... So I have gone from cfl to hps and now LED hummm .... What eles can I go get...

On the down side.... I pissed of my clone guy.. ( Pointed out too many defects on his set up ) so I'm clone shopping again.
No big loss. Clones just didn't look 100%....

Another bump in the road... I placed 2 G.S.C. beans on wet napkins between 2 plates and looks like one seed was popping yet I let the plate dry out... grrrr..... Caught this morning and I have to see what happen yet think they are toast... Ooops...
wanted to keep the other 3 yet thinking I will go ahead and use em....

I really liked the way I trained the ladies in the 5 gal buckets last year. Full round canopy and such.

I could do 2 maybe 4 buckets in the small closet as a scrog with no net... lol who knows at this point...

well if you use the spray make sure its in veg or early flower, however the canola oil shouldnt be used once you start seeing flowers(unless your hitting the bottoms of fan leaves).
should try to train your new gals to grow around the rim of your pot, i didnt get to make it all the way around the rim but damn did that plant love life, perky everyday i went out there even when it rained(i thought it was cause the superthrive but it mightve just been a strong pheno). lol hope the LEDs work out, been hearing bad stuff about panels going out so have your back up ready, imo your best bets gonna be HID and fluoros/compact fluoros bulbs(150w-300w hortiluxs are where its at, plenty of other companies that have good spectrum and reliability out there), may need a cool tube for the HID to be easier on heat(or plenty of ventilation in your hood). lucky you can get clones, should look for some C99(calis gotta have it at every other dispensary) or tahoe, it must be a bit overwhelming to have that much variety. like how you trained those gals though, the outside branches might need some tying down later on to help them be exposed but she looks like shes gonna yield. keep it up yeps.

139 days outside (mid June)
23 days inside

She is filling in nicely and I'm thinking I can top cut her in 2 days.
Give a little more time for the bottom to fill in. maybe 2 more weeks tho I am
starting to think I have one of those hazes that never stop growing.

She has gone cloudy yet no amber showing yet. She still has a few bugs chewing her up.
I look Yet cant find the little fkers. No problem as she is close.

She seems to have the finishing yellow showing up and though some leaves look to
show a little burn. I have only given Molasses and water which I will do till the end.

Needless to say I'm stoked and cant wait to taste. Looking like 2-4 oz's to me.
Seems like she should be semi dense and tasty. Fingers crossed....

Just came in and had a chance to play with it a little.
Looks good and not much noise at all. Down side is the heat this thing pumps out the top. The case and lights stay cool to touch yet you can feel the heat come out the
top.

I set up a little 2'x2' closet with no vent. lol
With door open temp stayed at 83*--- Closed the door and right up to 103 temps... ops.. 6 x 26w cfl's got 94 temps with door closed. So in comparison, not horrible.

No way to vent the closet so don't think i will be using it.
I also put a DIY grow tent together and tried the LED in there as well.lol

Fun fun fun... Getting close to having some new smoke and gots some nice ladies getting taller
by the day. New toys and lots of ways this could play out....

Made 20+Grams of nice hash


Cleaned out my inventory from the 1st grow by giving what smoke was left to a loved one
that has a hard time paying for meds....

SourD,Grape Krush,Super Silver Haze and hash.
Around 6oz smoke and 15G hash.
lol just called and said a fly by. Didn't have a clue... Handed and ran with a smile.

I don't really need pounds around doing no good to anyone.
May not be the best smoke yet she dont smoke like I do and will enjoy...

Built a DIY 2'x2'x6' grow room from a portable closet. emergency blankets a couple tarps and duck tape...



Was gifted a few really old seeds, early 80s smoke no idea strains as he said they didn't have names back then. lol From the Mid west in the early 80s so I'm trying to pop them 3 different ways to increase my chances of getting a couple. 20 beans in all. See what happens....

Trying to make up my mind as to what to grow in the larger closet after I take down
the Border haze. I want to upgrade to panda film but not thinking it will happen soon.

Going with the 430w HPS and the 300w LED which will flood a 2'x8'x8' space for sure. lol
Im going to make a hood for the top of the LED and vent that heat into the exhaust line from the
tube lite. Just a small tupper ware with 4" vent line over the 8 fans on the LED.

Waiting for the little ladies to grow 5 sets of branches at which time I will cut down to above the second
branch so as to gain growth of 4 main colas each. I will clone the cuts and flower those first in order to
find out which of the 5 main plant I have are male or female.

Going to use this DIY grow room as a veg room for moms and clones.

then the main large closet...
I cant see more than 4 or 5 max ladies in such a small space.(well 3-4) lol
Unless I go... lol
A 5' long 2' wide S.C.R.O.G... Maybe One long P.P.K pot with one reservoir Scrog...

Either way this will be a P.P.K with coco and jacks grow. Really hoping the B.A.T.F has a semi short
flower time as I really am over 170day grows lol

I hope to set up a clone seed grow next so I really need this grow to be smooth sailing... Yeah Right...

So is it just me or is this a crazy amount of time to flower? Even given the fact it was outside with little lite most of the time. They withstood the shower for bugs quite well tho the beautiful silver hairs turned red. I see no bugs and she seems strong.

I only have a 20x scope and as far as I can see the tricks are mostly cloudy yet no amber.

I cant tell whether or not ta cut.
I could use a little guidance or advice.

My feeling is she was stunted a couple times.
Hardest when she was moved inside.
Almost as tho she re-flowered...

Then a few days ago when the white flys and other bugs population exsploded over night.

Im thinking some of the yellow is sun burn from the HPS.

This is going to be a awesome winter grow...

I ordered 10 x 3 gallon smart pots and every thing I need to set up a
sweet P.P.K system.

Took a taste a few days ago. Had in the corner of the closet and shes ready to brown bag yet i have so BB so into a wood drawer for a few days then the jar.

So the time was right and my mood shifted from grower to trimmer over night.

What can I say..
The smell is intense most nugs are dense and look great after trimming.

I only found a couple signs of bugs and don't seem to have lost much beyond some fan and sugar leaf.

Seems to have good girth and think I wall be happy with the yield. All and all how could complain.

Only 30 day under 430 hps and no nutrients & straight hose water.. so cost me maybe $20-$30

for all this smoke.

That and these were my seeds. Talk about stoked....

Ready to test my 3gal smart pot on P.P.K. system...Testing for leaks and preparing the coco for transplanting.Using a mild solution of jacks hydro and PH down if needed with tap water...

1st test led to leaks with the blue hoses. A little plumbers glue and a few hour's should fix it.I moved the pluse feeder hoses from lid to the RES top.*Also shown is the control bucket.

Running Jack's Hydro at 7.5 Grams per 5 Gallons.*I want to soak coco over night and maybe add ladies tomorrow.They really need to be moved. Getting bigger by the day...

1 Hawiian Punch
1 Kong O.G.


OK here's the break down:

5 Gal blue control bucket with a 30 gal reservoir
( also ave a 5 gal res. ready) Might change over to the smaller one.

If you look at the feeder lines you will see off/on valves on each.
In case I want to change things or move.
I had one on the res-cont line yet leaked. Will get a different kind.


Pulse feeding pump and lines. ( I ordered quick connect and off valves as well as a new manifold )


Controle bucket with float valve.
Using car tire stems as ports. Using 3 with another 3 ready if
I ever expand.


Original 3 gallon Smart Pots with handles using coco filled 1 1/2"
pipe as a wick.

2.5 inch air gap between the bottom and water line.
Small drain holes between pots sitting on 10 gallon tots.



Pulse fed top flushing line.

nice love the drip system, nothins better than knowin your gals are fed or knowin if you forget about em theyll still be there. its like a potheads dream lol. these are some kickass strains though yeps, nothin beats a good indica. you got any sativas for this one? i love sativas but growin em is so expensive seeing as you have to let em flower for 3-4 months. if you live in cali its probably easier to just buy some but idk about those dispensaries sometimes, i hear alot of the bud that comes out of cali is chemically burned by bad salt based nutes but theres always gonna a bad dispensary, its kinda like KFC, its good but if you go to the wrong one, its fuckin horrible. hahaha

It is cheaper to buy right now than grow. $70 a oz on sweetberry. great times... as for me. i have 1 borderhaze for a sative as well as some 80s bagseed i popped.. should be sativa..

What better day than this to jar and smoke my Border Haze lady.*
Total weight. 51 grams

Clean health good looking- 40 grams
Buds with from a couple to tons of little white bugs- 11 grams

You can see she was trying to thicken up when cut.
Looks like she is frozen in time as some of the pistols were 80 percent extended.All fluffy yet thickly covered with hairs.

The clean buds are 100 % clean and the infected buds trended to be covered . Most were on one plant. Which is lucky.*

What sucks is... it was the biggest and best looking ladie.

I believe the shower helped tho took a little of her scent.
Smells are slowly coming back yet she was stinky before I cleansed her.*

Tossed a couple nugs in the grinder and bam...
Her smells popped out big time.
I really love this smell and it is truly unique haze.

Rolled a fatty..*I want to say...

Earthy almost pine needle with typical haze background sweetness.
I think the earthy will fade with curing.*

Leaving a pine haze.*
Uplifting happy forehead buzz that hits you by the second hit.

I give it a B Now and possible B+ if it cures good.

Ya got to love ducktape.

I used a frame from a portable closet.

Emergency blankets and a tarp on 3 sides.

Styrofoam roof, floor and door. Zipper in the center of the door.

A small bathroom ceiling fan on top and a air intake on the bottom of the door.

Lots of ducktape...

Cost... Under $40.00

She may not be perty..Yet No lite leak. she sure work's good. Great air flow.

Going to put my 300 watt LED with the mini PPK system.

Using this tent for Clones and Mothers/VEG...

12/27/12 moving along...

Took clones off each of the 5 teens last night.Labelled and sitting on a heating pad off to the side.

Took monster clones as I waited till after Xmas and for the Kong to catch up a little.
*The tallest 2 are touching the top of my dome, so I'm a little worried about that.

The ladies in moonshine are looking great after cutting.Loving the set up.*Just a few days and you can tell they are happy little ladies.

Waiting for the glue to dry on my Mini PPK set up then will be moving the clones into my LED tent and flip the main closet to
12/12 for flower power.
