When "my" product started circulating here in Michigan I had a bit of a marketing problem. 99% of the product available here
is the old standby -- Mexican dirt reefer. How do I differentiate between my sensimilla and the ubiquitous Tiajuana Tripweed?

I had my boy start referring to my product as "medical" pot. Timing was helpful as we have seen an explosion of new grow
shops and dispensaries. State just passed a MJ law and cardholders are coming out of the woodwork. Now there is a two-tier
pot pricing system instead of just one as buyers start to realize that quality really does matter.

I suggest that more growers and more smokers will elevate prices, if anything. Have you seen what dispensaries charge?
$30-50 a gram is common. Works out to about one large per oz. Just how is that supposed to deflate prices?

Of course we are having a theoretical debate here.

i get my homegrown AK for 300 and bubblegum for 250, but thats between a small circle of growers, with more growers taking the step to try and grow on there own, i think the prices will fall and more supply gets out to the "mmj community"

30-50$ a GRAM? crazy lol its 50$/ 1/4 ounce in SW ontario. My self i buy in much larger amount though usally Half lbs - Lbs depending on price. But on avg a half pound here is 1100 and your saying thats what ppl pay of an oz? mannnnnn i need to start exporting lol

30-50 a gram doesn't sound right(that's what bho goes for), and you're about 4 years late on selling your weed as 'medical' grade.

Maybe at a dispensary, but many are shut down now. You can get just as good of quality for $40 1/8ths in most of CA.

30 to 50 , now that's harsh.
I did see what they charged here, at first when things got going they were charging like 20 bux a g, haha, you could do better on the street. I think most of them that are still in business now have realized they have to compete. personally I haven't spent any money in a dispensary for anything other than seeds in like forever. they should carry hydro gear (some do actually)

True but they still had to rebuild, where I am every club was shut down and some reopened but were raided again. So there aren't any now, but since pot is everywhere up here nobody pays 60 bucks an eighth that is ridiculous.

Damn if I need to buy herb it's 240 an ounce MAX for the dankest of the dank. In washington, which has an established med community. I'd hate to be elsewhere. Shit I just stay growing so it doesn't really matter anyways.

By the way this isn't creating a trend. This has been done before, it's called an open market. Nothing new or trendy about it. But keep up the job, we don't want people smoking Mexican shwag, now do we?

Just sell it for $10 a gram flat rate. You make some money and patients get some affordable medicine.

Period.He guarantees to take all I can give him and I let the ozs go for $150/per.Been averaging 6-8 oz/month with my perpetual grow. Would of been 8-10 but I took most of the summer off. in the Midwest its 10-25$ for dank and 25-50$ for the dankest what a bitch, thats why i grow. to hell with the middle man haha for what i payed for a gram i grew 1 1/2 oz. An oz runs bout 400-600$

In in Michigan and don't know of anything over 20-25 a g plus i get anywhere from 250-300 a zip so why sell for ten a G ?? Can't replace it for that

In southwest mich ounces go for 200 quarters for 50 doesn't matter what strain. the most top shelf you can get would still be 200. But travel to a dispensary and bam there's the ridiculous prices! 20 a gram for meds that aren't high in quality always wet never cured. Now I don't use the dispensaries I grow my own. I did support the cause though just once and wasn't pleased at all with what I saw.

Now that's southwest mich. Up north though, I was very impressed cured properly and was some quality meds.
