My first post.... how am I doing?

Hello all,

My apologies if I'm breaking any of the forum rules as this is my first post, but it seems to me like as if this is the appropriate place to put this post :-P.

I am growing inside of a 4x4x6 tent (DR120), and I am currently running a 1000w MH light with a Lumatek ballast. I have a 6" fan connected to my air-cooled reflector, and a 6" fan connected to my carbon filter (it takes air from outside, and spits it into another room. This is actually the case with the air-cooled ducting as well). I am on day 27.

I am wondering... how do my plants look? Does anything seem to be wrong with them? Please note that in the middle their are two Bhut Jolokia plants growing (very small at the moment), and one "runt" cannabis plant as well. Other than those three in the smaller pots... how does my setup look? Do my plants appear to be on track for being on day 27? Are they the right height from the light? I have a humidifer in there and the humidty is consistantly between 40% and 60%. The temperature fluctuates between 72 and 78 degrees F when the lights are on, and it dips down to 67 when lights are off (I am working on a solution for this). The fan that is hooked up to the filter is hooked up to a dimmer switch in case I want to feed it CO2 in the form of pucks or one of those fungus-mulch bags.

I have the air circulating 24/7 with the oscillating fan, although it is not oscillating. It is on an 18/6 light cycle. Hell I'm excited and just really want some input :) Do they look sick at all? Should they be taller? I recently just transplanted them to their final pots.

They could be a bit taller but all-in-all I think they look good and I like your setup. Looks good! :leaf:

Looking good.
Let me know how your Ghost Chili turns out in the same room :)
I tried some Habaneros outside, even knowing I started late, and had to choose peppers or smoke (I only had room for one plant to do indoors over Winter), so................

You're just fishing for an "atta boy". And you deserve one!

Looks like a strain that is near pure indica and that is a good choice for beginners. Indicas
are usually faster to mature and quicker to grow.

Be prepared for some more apparent slow growth due to your pot selection. You won't get
that desirable inch-a-day growth until the plants' outer fan leaves are nearly to the outside of the pot.

Looking good, BigSteve.

Looking good.. You may want to adjust your plant placement a little to fit the foot print of the reflector better though.

looks good m8t. i have plants a week younger and are a bit smaller. what strain is it? mine is big bang.

BigSteve & Everybody: Thanks guys! True at the fishing for an "atta boy" lol...

8 of them are "Jean Gray", and 1 of them is a feminized "Corleone Kush", although I am not sure which one that is anymore because somebody bumped into the seedling tray and scattered the peat pellets. I am simply hoping that I will "just be able to tell" as the plants develop.

Budgoro88: I can't remember the name of the reflector anymore, packaging has been disgarded, but it keeps her cool very nicely.

IMChucky666: I will keep you posted on the ghost peppers! Mainly my "plausible deniability" device, but I do grow them in the summer and they are HOT. Also grew some Trinidad Moruga Scorpion peppers and habanaros in the summer, all wildly successful.

These photos were taken yesterday, and today respectively. I think that I may have had a PH problem, fertilized yesterday with a solution hat measured 5.9, and they just exploded! This is now day 37 since my babies first sprouted above ground.

Not sure why the pictures keep flipping horizontally.

Great pictures, ICBM! Those plants look absolutely delicious! So green and lush. I bet they'll produce some fat buds, too! ^_^
Doing great, mate. Doing GREAT!

Nice job. They look healthy. Consider square pots in the future to eliminate all that wasted grow space. Just MHO.

Good call, never even occurred to me.

Something horrible happened today; two of them are confirmed male, day 39 of veg. I through it outside in our garden compost, but an actual FLOWER had fallen off, a pretty little white flower. Just don't understand how 2 days ago I couldn't tell the sex of any of my plants, to all of a sudden I have a flower that dropped off. I hope it didn't / won't pollinate all of my ladies. All I can do is hope for the best I guess.

Are you loading to Photobucket or something , then to here?
I usually flip mine when I load to PB. then they come out fine here.
They look good, but I can't tell for sure if it's your lighting, or they're starting to get a light green tint to them?
Is that why you fed?;-)
Also, try and get your PH up around 6.5 or so, to avoid problems later on.
Here's a couple charts for ya.View attachment 2426299View attachment 2426300

Very very nice, very helpful! I think my PH is hovering around 6.6. I'm not sure whats up with my city water but it read 7.7 today straight tap water... sometimes it's 7.4 sometimes it's 7.5, etc.
